    摘要: A voice/image simultaneous communication apparatus which can transmit image data while permitting talking with higher efficiency by encoding voice and synthesizing voice coded data and image data than by multiplexing frequencies. The voice/image simultaneous communication apparatus is constructed of a voice coder for coding an analog voice signal, a voice decoder for decoding the coded voice into an analog voice signal, a data synthesizer for synthesizing image coded data and voice coded data, a data separator for separating synthesized coded data into image coded data and voice coded data, and a modem capable of performing full duplex communication. The data synthesizer can change the ratio of synthesis between voice coded data and image coded data in accordance with the data transmission speed.

    摘要: A data communication system by which simultaneous communication of voice and data is possible without disturbing voice communication. During communication between a first telephone and a second telephone through a telephone line, when a data signal from a computer is fed to a data communication system, the data signal is modulated according to a spread spectrum system by a spread spectrum modem, mixed with the voice signal, and transmitted from a line interface to the telephone line. The signal including the spread spectrum modulated data signal and the voice signal is received in the second telephone. The voice mixed with spread spectrum modulated data signal is heard at the second telephone with only slight noise. Thus, talking can continue undisturbed, because energy of the data signal is spread to a wider band.

    摘要: A facsimile system with the body thereof usable as a subunit of a cordless telephone is disclosed. A parent unit is connected to the telephone line. A facsimile subunit is connected by radio to the parent unit. A telephone subunit is also connected by radio to the parent unit. A circuit included in the parent unit detects a signal indicating that the other party is in facsimile transmission mode. When a call signal is detected from the telephone line, the parent unit connects the line. When a CNG signal is detected, on the other hand, the parent unit connects the facsimile subunit by radio. In the case where a CNG signal is not detected, the parent unit starts the ring-up tone on the telephone subunit. An AGC circuit and a voice mute circuit are included in the parent unit.

    摘要: A moving picture data recording/reproducing system. In recording operation, moving picture data of a first frame row including frames selected from frames of an input picture signal for every predetermined number of frames are coded in accordance with an intra-frame coding method in which coding is completed within each frame, while picture data of a second frame row including the other frames are coded by an inter-frame coding method assuring a high compression ratio. The coded data resulting from the inter-frame coding and the intra-frame coding are multiplexed by interleaving them in the order of the frame numbers, the multiplexed data being then recorded on a recording medium. In reproducing operation, the multiplexed data are read out for reproducing the moving picture signal or alternatively the intra-frame coded data of the first frame row are selectively read out for reproducing the moving picture signal.

    摘要: An image data transfer system constructed of an image data transfer unit, transmission medium and image data reproduction unit. In the image data transfer unit, an input video signal is transformed into image data through sampling and quantization, the image data are coded in a predetermined image coding method, and transferred to the transmission medium. In the image data reproduction unit, the coded data transferred by the transmission medium are decoded in a predetermined image decoding method, the original video signal is restored from the decoded data. A data transfer speed and transfer scheme are selected such that the total coded data amount for the input video signal over a predetermined time duration becomes equal to or smaller than a transferable data amount determined by a data transfer speed from the transmission medium to the image data reproduction unit and by the predetermined time duration. Data transfer information on the selected data transfer speed or information on the transfer scheme is transferred to the transmission medium along with the coded data.

    摘要: A picture display memory system with structure for changing over an address selection signal and data input signal fed to a picture memory depending upon whether the picture information is consecutive in the depth direction or is consecutive in the horizontal direction. When the picture information in the depth direction is to be written, the address selection signal is supplied to the picture memory to select a particular bit in the horizontal direction of the picture memory as an address, and the picture information of the depth direction is written into memory as a data input.
