A process of making the particle is also described wherein starting aerogel particles are homogenized or wet milled. The starting aerogel particles can be surface treated during the milling process to prevent agglomeration or aggregation. The aerogel particles can be used in a variety of products and applications.

The aerogel is coated with a coating substance to at least substantially prevent the intrusion of the polymer into the pores of the aerogel. 摘要： Method for manufacturing an aerogel-containing composite, said method comprising the steps of: providing fibers, at least some of which are first fibers, such as mineral fibers, polymer fibers, cellulose fibers, or other types of fibers, in an amount of from 3 to 80 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, providing an aerogel particulate material in an amount of from 10 to 75 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, providing a binder in an amount of from 1 to 30 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, suspending the fibers in a primary air flow and suspending the aerogel particulate material in the primary air flow, thereby mixing the suspended aerogel particulate material with the suspended fibers, mixing the binder with the fibers and/or aerogel particulate material before, during or after mixing of the fibers with the aerogel particulate material, collecting the mixture of fibers, aerogel particulate material and binder and pressing and curing the mixture to provide a consolidated composite with a density of from 120 kg/m3 to 800 kg/m3. With this method homogeneous composites can be produced.

摘要： A hydraulic clamping device for axially clamping pieces of radial symmetry has a base body with a longitudinal axis slipped onto a receiving mandrel. An annular piston is floatingly arranged in the base body. A closed circuit hydraulic system for displacing the annular piston relative to the base body toward a piece of radial symmetry to be clamped on the receiving mandrel is provided for securely clamping the piece of radial symmetry on the receiving mandrel. A plurality of compensation wedges arranged at the annular piston have wedge surfaces extending symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the base body. Adjusting screws that are radially displaceable relative to the longitudinal center axis of the base body are provided for displacing the compensation wedges axially in order to secure the compensation wedges in a clamping position.
