摘要： A modular battery storage system includes energy storage modules. A switch is assigned to individual energy storage modules, by which the respective energy storage module can be activated and deactivated. The energy storage modules can connect to one another by the switches such that the individual voltages of activated energy storage modules can be added up to form a total voltage. A method of operating the battery storage system ascertains at least one power value for each of the energy storage modules, the power value being characteristic of the power capacity of the energy storage module. A total voltage is generated by at least two energy storage modules being activated with a time overlap but over activation periods of different length. One of the activation periods of different length is assigned to each of the at least two energy storage modules depending on the ascertained at least one power value.

摘要： A lithium ion cell includes a ribbon-shaped electrode-separator assembly having an anode, a separator, and a cathode. The electrode-separator assembly has two terminal end faces or two terminal sides. The anode comprises a ribbon-shaped anode current collector having a first longitudinal edge, the cathode comprises a ribbon-shaped cathode current collector having a first longitudinal edge, and the electrode-separator assembly is enclosed in a housing. The first longitudinal edge of the anode current collector protrudes from one of the terminal end faces or terminal sides of the stack and the first longitudinal edge of the cathode current collector protrudes from the other. A contact sheet metal member is in direct contact with a respective longitudinal edge. A part of the housing serves as the contact sheet metal member and/or the contact sheet metal member forms a part of the housing enclosing the electrode-separator assembly.

The machine-readable coding is assigned in the form of through holes into the respective uncoated strip-shaped section, or the coding is applied onto the respective uncoated strip-shaped section.

The energy storage cell further includes an electrode-separator assembly winding having two terminal end faces and a wound jacket, the electrode-separator assembly comprising an anode, a cathode, and a separator. The energy storage cell additionally includes an at least partly metallic contact element in direct contact with and connected to current collector by welding. The contact element comprises a circular edge and closes the terminal circular opening of the tubular housing portion in a gas- and liquid-tight manner. The contact element is or comprises a metallic membrane electrically connected to a current collector. The metallic membrane is configured to, in response to a pressure in the housing exceeding a threshold, bend such that electrical contact between the contact element and the current collector is lost.
