摘要: Generally speaking, pursuant to various embodiments, interconnect apparatuses are provided herein to couple flexible circuits to control circuits. In some embodiments, the apparatus can include a first portion housing one or more control circuits and a second portion conductively coupled to a flexible circuit. In some embodiments, the first portion may be configured to be coupled to the second portion such that the control circuit can be conductively coupled to the flexible circuit when the first portion is coupled to the second portion. In some embodiments, the control circuit can be configured to capture temperature readings. In some embodiments, the control circuit can be configured to capture proximity readings. In some embodiments, the control circuit can be configured to include one or more communications devices.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to fuel system components comprising polymer compositions containing functionalized graphene sheets. In one embodiment, the fuel system component can comprise a plurality of layers affixed to the fuel system component comprising one or more first layers and one or more second layers. The fuel system component in direct contact with one or more fuels or provides one or more paths to ground from one or more second components that is in direct contact with flowing fuel. The fuel can be a liquid fuel. Each first layer can comprise at least one of a metal, a fiber, and a woven material. Each second layer can comprise a composition of one or more polymers and fully exfoliated single sheets of graphene having a carbon to oxygen molar ration of at least 50:1.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a graphene-based Rotman lenses and associated methods of formation. In some embodiments, a lens is positioned proximate to a surface of a dielectric plate. In other embodiments, the lens comprises a first lens contour positioned opposite a second lens contour. In certain embodiments, a plurality of first transmission lines extends from the first lens contour and each terminating at a particular first port. In yet still other embodiments, a plurality of second transmission lines extends from the second lens contour and each terminating at a particular second port. In some embodiments, the lens includes a composition having a polymer(s) and a three-dimensional network of individual sheets of graphene positioned within the composition. In certain embodiments, the first port and/or the second port has a width of λ/2 or less.

摘要: An article includes a first layer comprising a substrate having one or more images applied thereto. A second layer applied on each image and comprising one or more first and second portions, the first portion and second portions each in communication with a first image area and a second image area of an image, respectively. The second layer comprises a coating composition comprising fully exfoliated single sheets of graphene. The first and second portions comprise first and second detectable properties, respectively, having a value correlated with the graphene. The first and/or second detectable properties each comprise a first X-ray diffraction pattern, a first electrical conductivity, and one or more of a thermal conductivity, an optical property. The first and second detectable properties together create a distinctive signature for the article.

摘要: A method of making a composition, comprising: (1) oxidizing graphite to graphite oxide using at least one sulfur-containing reagent, (2) exfoliating the graphite oxide to form graphene sheets, and (3) blending the graphene sheets with elemental sulfur and/or at least one organosulfur compound, wherein the graphene sheets comprise at least about 1 weight percent sulfur. The composition may be made into an electrode that may be used in batteries, including lithium sulfur batteries.
