摘要: From a bit stream, at least the following are decoded: a stereoscopic image of first and second views; a maximum positive disparity between the first and second views; and a minimum negative disparity between the first and second views. In response to the maximum positive disparity violating a limit on positive disparity, a convergence plane of the stereoscopic image is adjusted to comply with the limit on positive disparity. In response to the minimum negative disparity violating a limit on negative disparity, the convergence plane is adjusted to comply with the limit on negative disparity.

摘要: A video device includes a first video camera, a second video camera, a motion estimating portion and an image stabilization portion. The first video camera records a first image of a first field of view, records a second image of the first field of view, outputs a first frame of image data based on the first image and outputs a second frame of image data based on the second image. The second video camera records a third image of a second field of view, records a fourth image of the second field of view, outputs a third frame of image data based on the third image and outputs a fourth frame of image data based on the fourth image. The motion estimating portion outputs a motion signal based the fourth frame of image data. The image stabilization portion modifies the second frame of image data based on the motion signal.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for preserving geographic metadata are disclosed. An electronic device may be configured to receive file data from an external device or network, obtain geographic metadata corresponding to the file data, identify non-reserved storage segments for storing the file data, and identify reserved storage segments for storing the geographic metadata. The reserved storage segments may be data clusters or data sectors. In certain embodiments, the reserved storage segments are identified based on the non-reserved storage segments. The electronic device may also be configured to write the file data to the non-reserved storage segments and write the geographic metadata to the reserved storage segments. Additional embodiments include systems, apparatuses, and methods for configuring a data storage device to preserve geographic metadata by storing the geographic metadata in reserved data segments.

摘要: In a digital device, activity of (or load on) one or more processors, peripherals and memory buses are measured. A power management framework operated in the digital device bases power settings in the digital device on the measured loads, and accordingly issues power management commands to change power consumption states of one or more of the processors, peripherals and memory buses. Some user applications (termed power aware applications) in the digital device provide a number identifying their application type to the power management framework, which thereby determines the resources required by the application. The power management commands issued by the power management framework ensure provision of the corresponding resources to the application, while also targeting minimization of power consumption in the digital device. In an embodiment, the digital device corresponds to a mobile phone.

摘要: A technique for sharing a peripheral device among a group of systems comprises capturing a set of images of a user, and processing the set of images of the user to determine a user directive to designate a first system in the group as an owner of a peripheral device of a second system in the group. If the peripheral device is an input device, the technique further comprises redirecting, responsive to the user directive, from the second system to the first system, data entered using the input device of the second system. If the peripheral device is an output device, the technique further comprises forwarding, responsive to the user directive, from the first system to the second system, data for processing by the output device of the second system. In an embodiment, the user directive is in the form of the user's eye gaze directed at a camera.
