摘要: In a reactor for gasification of entrained solid and liquid fuels at temperatures between 1,200 and 1,900° C. and at pressures between ambient pressure and 10 MPa using an oxidizing agent containing free oxygen, the cooling screen is connected to the pressure shell in a gastight manner via a sliding seal in order to allow length changes. Continuous gas purging of the annular gap between pressure shell and cooling screen is unnecessary and gasification gas is prevented from flowing behind.

摘要: An oil/slurry burner with injection atomization for the gasification of solids-containing liquid fuels under high pressures of e.g. 80 bar (8 MPa) and high temperatures of e.g. 1200 to 1900 degrees centigrade in reactors with liquid slag removal is proposed, wherein a plurality of feeding elements disposed outside the annular duct concentrically with respect to the burner axis are provided for introducing liquid fuel and atomizing agent, the individual feeding elements being implemented intrinsically straight in the burner, inclined to the burner axis in the direction of the burner mouth, and ending at the burner mouth adjacent to the oxidant outlet. By introducing the liquid fuel and atomizing agent in individual completely implemented tubes with a corresponding nozzle, different fuels can be supplied simultaneously via the individual feeds and converted in a flame reaction.

摘要: Disclosed is a burner for oxidant gasification of pulverized fuels under high pressures, e.g. 80 bar, and temperatures, e.g. 1200 to 1900° C., in reactors with liquid slag removal for oxygen gasification. The individual pulverized coal supply tubes in the burner are inclined toward the burner axis in the direction of the burner mouth, are implemented equiareally from the burner inlet up to the burner outlet, and end at the burner mouth adjacent to the oxidant outlet. Owing to the pulverized fuel feeding elements being implemented right up to the burner mouth and the instantaneous entry of the pulverized coal into the rotating oxygen stream there is no longer any areal discontinuity at the dust outlet, since here the pulverized coal stream is immediately sucked into the oxidant stream. At the outlet of the media the individual pulverized coal streams merge into a single rotating pulverized coal/oxygen stream, thereby achieving an even flame spread and stabilization.

摘要: A burner with an integrated electrical high-voltage igniter and a flame monitor for partly oxidizing gaseous fuels in reactors that are either pressurized or not. A fuel-gas channel communicates with a confusor which opens into an annual fuel-gas nozzle. The fuel-gas channel, furthermore, is surrounded by an annular oxygen channel. Water channels border the confusor and the annular fuel-gas nozzle. The annular fuel-gas nozzle, moreover, has the confusor, and annular nozzle with a reaction zone end, and a diffusor. This diffusor merges into the oxygen channel at an axially parallel radius of curvature. A high-voltage ignition cable extends through the fuel-gas channel and terminates in a metal electrode which is positioned so as to form a spark gap in a space between the tip of the electrode and a metal wall of the burner. In this space within the spark gap, the fuel gas and oxygen mixture is turbulent, whereby the fuel-gas channel provides a reliable and certain ignition of the fuel gas and oxygen mixture independent of gas pressure in that space. The radius of curvature is located at an exit end of the diffusor and extends into the oxygen channel for separation of gas from walls of the diffusor to produce a vacuum in the spark gap space for suctioning the oxygen from the oxygen channel.

摘要: The invention relates to burners for the gasification of pulverized coal--injected in a dense phase--with steam and oxygen, and it can be employed for coal gasification in the chemical industry. Objects of the present invention are to increase the reliability in operation of the burner and to improve the quality of the gas obtained from the gasification process. The burner should be designed in such a way that a reliable operation is attained under the conditions of the gasification process (e. g. high pressures and temperatures within the gasifier). The design of the pulverized-coal feeding device, the water-cooled jacket and the swirl chamber according to the invention are described in detail.

摘要: The invention comprises a combination burner for the gasification of pulverized fuels with an oxidation means containing free oxygen at ambient or higher pressures, as well as temperatures between 800-1800° C., with the ignition device of the pilot burner with flame monitoring and the pulverized fuel burner being integrated as a combination burner and all operating channels being routed separately from each other up to the mouth of the burner and the media carried by the channels only being mixed at the mouth of the burner. When the pilot burner is dismantled the eddy bodies 14 attached to its sleeve in the main burner oxidation means supply 17 can be exchanged quickly and easily and thus the main burner flame adapted in the optimum way to the reaction chamber contour of the reactor.

摘要: The invention relates to a reactor vessel and method for the gasification of carbon-containing fuel, residual and waste materials using an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent and in a reaction chamber which is designed as an entrained-bed reactor, at pressures between ambient pressure and 80 bar, preferably between ambient pressure and 30 bar, the contour of the reaction chamber being delimited by a cooling system, and the pressure in the cooling system always being held at a higher level than the pressure in the reaction chamber, and the cooling system withstanding the maximum possible pressure difference with respect to the reaction chamber, which has been depressurized to atmospheric pressure, which reactor vessel is distinguished by the fact that cooling channels are formed by webs which are in contact both with a refractory protective layer and with the pressure shell.
