摘要: The present invention relates to a method for estimating an individual position. In order to improve the estimation of the individual position of a vehicle, for example, at least one first position measurement is carried out by a first positioning system and at least one second position measurement is carried out by at least one second positioning system. A third position measurement is also carried out by the first positioning system. The third position measurement is carried out after the first and second position measurements. The individual position is estimated on the basis of at least the third position measurement and at least one position error value. The position error value is determined on the basis of the at least one first position measurement and the at least one second position measurement.

摘要: A method for providing Internet access to a customer of a service provider wherein the service provider takes over the costs for the customer's Internet use. The method includes the customer's user equipment generating a service start notification message to a server of the service provider in response to the customer agreeing to the service and commencement of use of the service. The service start notification message triggers sending a query to a database of the service provider containing customer data, and confirming the customer has access rights for getting Internet access at the service provider's expenses. The service provider generates and sends out a request message to the mobile communication provider of the customer and requests an intermediate change of the customer's mobile communication contract so the costs for loading Internet data on the customer's user equipment will be temporarily charged to the service provider rather than the customer.

摘要: A method for data communication between communication participants including observing the surroundings of the transmitting participant, determining the positon and motion of the communication participants, and estimating the transmission conditions at a later point in time. The solution is based on classifying the data for data communication in different categories, the categories determining susceptibility of the data to transmission errors determining which data is transmitted under good transmission conditions only and which data is be transmitted under rough transmission conditions whereby the transmission station plans the transmission of data in different categories. The method further includes selecting for data transmission at a given time for which the transmission conditions have been estimated so the data to be transmitted is in a category fitting to the estimated transmission conditions based on the categories data, and transmitting the selected data.

摘要: Embodiments relate to methods and apparatuses for a vehicle, a network component, and a mobile transceiver performing multi-client sampling. A network component comprises one or more interfaces configured to communicate with mobile transceivers. It further comprises a control module configured to control interfaces and receive information on a multi-client sampling request as well as information on capabilities and status of a plurality of mobile transceivers. The control module is further configured to determine a subset of the mobile transceivers based on the information on the multi-client sampling request and on the capabilities and status. The subset comprises at least one mobile transceiver as cluster head and at least one other mobile transceiver. The control module is further configured to provide to the subset of mobile transceivers instructions to perform the multi-client sampling by collecting requested data at the cluster head using direct communication within the subset.

摘要: A method for collision avoidance between a vulnerable road user transportation vehicle and a surrounding transportation vehicle. The user of the vulnerable road user transportation vehicle makes use of a portable communication device. Since such vulnerable road users are often involved in accidents since they are not easily recognized in the traffic, the disclosure increases safety for these vulnerable road users. The method includes transferring position detecting sensor data or derived position data of the vulnerable road user transportation vehicle to the portable communication device which performs a map matching technique for refining the position data and transfers the refined position data to the vulnerable road user transportation vehicle. The vulnerable road user transportation vehicle distributes the refined position data to the surrounding transportation vehicles which calculate a trajectory for the vulnerable road user transportation vehicle and estimate the risk of a collision.
