Abstract: Apparatus for uniformly coating metallic foil with liquid insulating material, wherein air pressure is used to gently press the foil against a coating applicator roll. The air pressure against the foil enables it to be uniformly coated, without disturbing a liquid coating which may already have been applied to the side subjected to the air pressure.
