    摘要: A complex harness for a vehicle, configured to be provided from a vehicle body to a wheel, includes a composite cable including a plurality of power wires, each of which includes a center conductor covered with an insulation, and a plurality of signal wires, each of which includes a center conductor covered with an insulation, an outer diameter of each of the signal wires being smaller than an outer diameter of each of the power wires, the plurality of power wires and the plurality of signal wires being integrated by an outer sheath including a thermoplastic urethane. A plurality of clamps for attaching the composite cable to the vehicle body are fixed to an outer periphery of the outer sheath respectively via a plurality of rubber members provided along a part of a longitudinal direction of the composite cable.

    摘要: A self-wrapping, textile sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members from exposure to abrasion, thermal and other environmental conditions and method on construction thereof. The sleeve has an elongate wall constructed from interlaced yarns having interstices between adjacent yarns. At least one of the yarns is heat formed at one temperature to form the wall as a self-wrapping wall curling about a longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The wall has an inner surface providing a generally tubular cavity in which the elongate members are received. The wall also has an outer surface with a cured layer thereon. The cured layer is cured at the one temperature at which the yarns are heat formed into their self-wrapping configuration, wherein the cured layer fills the interstices between adjunct yarns to form an impervious layer on the wall.

    摘要: An insulated electrical member is made comprising at least one conductor wrapped with mica insulation and covered with a semiconducting binding tape, the whole being impregnated with a curable epoxy-styrene resin; where the binding tape comprises a porous, open weave substrate of electrically semiconducting fibrous strands, each fibrous strand being substantially permeated with a filled, thermosettable, protective varnish composition, the varnish composition containing between about 15 to 45 weight percent of electrically contacting carbon particles having a total internal and external surface area of up to about 600 square meters/gram, uniformly distributed therethrough, the interior of the carbon being substantially free of the varnish and resin, to provide fibrous strands that will conduct electricity.

    摘要: A porous, electrical insulating adhesive substrate is made by (A) electrostatically coating a flexible sheet material with heat reactive adhesive resin particles, having an average particle size of between about 1 micron to 2,000 microns, the adhesive particles are applied in a predetermined pattern on the sheet covering from about 10 percent to 90 percent of the sheet material area, the area between the resin pattern not being patterned and then (B) heating the patterened coated sheet material between about 65.degree.C to 250.degree.C, forming a discontinuous, 0.25 mil to 25 mil (0.006 mm to 0.635 mm) thick, dry coating pattern of heat reactive adhesive particles bonded to the sheet material, said heat reactive adhesive coating covering from about 10 percent to 90 percent of the sheet material area; the patterned coated sheet may then be inserted as an oil permeable layer insulation between high voltage windings and low voltage windings and between layers of high and low voltage windings in a wound coil assembly, after which the assembly can be heated at a temperature and for a time effective to securely bond the winding layers together, and thus provide a porous, oil permeable, bonded transformer coil assembly.
