摘要: A method of performing a vertical handover between different wireless networks based on media independent handover (MIH) includes the steps of checking a link state of the first network to transmit a handover notify message from the mobile node to an old access router when a handover is needed, and transmitting a handover request message from the old access router to a new access router to form a tunnel to exit toward the old access router. Thereafter, packets to be transmitted to the mobile node through the first network are buffered in the old access router. After changing the wireless service from the first network to the second network the mobile node, the packets buffered in the old access router is then transmitted to the new access router, and the mobile node receives the packets through the second network.

摘要: A heterogeneous network system performs a vertical handover based on media independent handover (MIH) in different networks in which a WiMAX (Wireless Broadband Internet) network (or a WiBro (Wireless Broadband Internet)) and a WLAN (Wireless LAN) network are coexisted. The heterogeneous network system cyclically acquires neighboring network information in advance through a media independent handover server, and performs new address (NCoA) generation at a handover preliminary time. And then DAD (Duplicate Address Detection) and BU (Binding Update) are performed. Accordingly, the vertical handover between different networks can be performed to receive packets from a switched network while a handover delay time is minimized.

摘要: An enhanced base station and clock synchronization method are provided. The method includes scanning to discover a satellite transmitting a satellite signal and a master base station providing clock synchronization signal, entering, when a satellite having a signal that fulfills predetermined conditions is found, a master mode for receiving the satellite signal to acquire clock synchronization and transmitting a clock synchronization signal to at least one slave base station, and entering, when no satellite having a signal that fulfills the predetermined conditions is found, a slave mode for receiving the clock synchronization signal from the master base station to acquire clock synchronization. The method allows the base station to switch between the master and slave modes dynamically according to variation of the communication environment, resulting in efficient clock synchronization.

摘要: The present invention describes a Pd-catalyst which further contains La, Ti, Nb, K or Si. The Pd-catalyst has a high ethylene selectivity even after a low temperature reduction in the selective hydrogenation of acetylene to ethylene. The invention also relates to the production of the catalyst. A catalyst of the invention consists essentially of 0.05 to 2.0% by weight, based on the supported catalyst, of palladium and one or two metals chosen form the group consisting of lanthanum, niobium, titanium, potassium and silicon. The catalyst can be prepared by the following procedure. (1) Impregnating a support in aqueous solution of tetra amine palladium hydroxide, followed by drying and calcination; (2) The second and, if necessary, a third metal is impregnated by impregnating the Pd-catalyst in the solution of the metal precursor followed by drying and calcination; (3) The catalyst according to step (2) is then reduced in hydrogen at 200° C. to 600° C. for 1 to 5 hours.
