Abstract:
A module for a tester for the testing of circuit boards is described. Such testers have a basic grid on which an adapter and/or a translator may be arranged in order to connect contact points of the basic grid with circuit board test points of a circuit board to be tested. The module comprises a support plate and a contact board. The contact board is formed by a rigid circuit board section which is described as the basic grid element, and at least one flexible circuit board section. Provided on the basic grid element are contact points which each form part of the contact points of the basic grid. The basic grid element is mounted at an end face of the support plate, and the flexible circuit board section is bent in such a way that at least part of the other section of the contact board is parallel to the support plate. Each of the contact points of the basic grid element is in electrical contact with conductor paths running in the contact board and extending from the basic grid element into the flexible circuit board section.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and a system for designing or producing a spectacle lens for a spectacle wearer. Said method consists of the following steps: individual user data or application data of the spectacle wearer is obtained; the design concept for the spectacle lens having a plurality of evaluation points is determined; a main beam path through the plurality of evaluation points is determined; a local wavefront is specified for each of the main beams in the surroundings of the respective main beam; optical properties of the spectacle lens are determined on the evaluation points by determining an influence of the spectacle lens on the local wavefronts in the surroundings of the respective evaluation point; and the design concept is evaluated in accordance with the determined optical properties and the individual user data.
Abstract:
A series of spectacle lenses, where the position of use of the spectacle lenses in front of the eyes of the respective spectacle wearers, nominal variables at the intersection points of first lines of sight are essentially identical to the respective eye-sided or object-sided surfaces of the spectacle lenses. Each first line of sight is a predetermined, eye-sided line of sight, that intersects a pupil center point and an optical eye rotation point of the respective eye. All of the first lines of sight exhibit a predetermined, identical eye-sided visual angle. The nominal variables for each intersection point consist of one or more of a maximum permissible difference between a predefined value of a spherical refractive power and an actual value of a spherical refractive power in the position of use, a maximum permissible difference between a predefined value of an astigmatism and an actual value of an astigmatism in the position of use, a maximum permissible difference between a predefined value of a cylinder axis position and an actual value of a cylinder axis position in the position of use of the respective spectacle lens of the series as well as a method for the production of a spectacle lens.
Abstract:
The invention relates to formulations containing the peptide p277 or variants thereof which are characterized by having increased stability during storage and transport.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of producing a single-strength spectacle lens while taking into account an individual spectacle wearer's data, the single-strength spectacle lens having a rotationally symmetrical base surface and a rotationally symmetrical aspherical or atoric prescription surface, comprising the following steps: Acquisition of an individual spectacle wearer's data; selection of a spectacle lens blank with a predetermined base surface from a group of spectacle lens blanks; and calculation and optimization of the prescription surface while taking into account at least a part of the individual spectacle wearer's data in addition to an adaptation of the dioptric effect by the prescription surface to the spectacle wearer's prescription. The invention also relates to a corresponding system for producing a single-strength spectacle lens and to an individual single-strength spectacle lens.

Compounds of formula I as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, A1 and A2 have the significance given in claim 1, can be used in the form of pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment or prevention of arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, renal failure, eating disorders and obesity.
Abstract:
The machine tool comprises two headstocks (16,17), arranged on a support (10), which are movable independently of each other along their height and their longitudinal direction. A respective one (17) of the headstocks is active in the treatment of a workpiece attached on a workpiece carrier (20), while the other headstock (16) can be moved behind a tool magazine (24) for receiving a tool therefrom. While the one headstock is still working on the workpiece, the other headstock with the next tool can already be accelerated to the required working rotational speed and be advanced to the tool. Thus, the time required for exchange of tools is extremely shortened.
Abstract:
An operating panel for an air-conditioning system equipped with a heating device and a cooling unit comprises a plurality of actuating elements for setting the rotational speed of a blower, the incoming-air temperature, the air distribution, and the fresh-air/circulating-air damper. A switch arranged in the operating panel serves to switch the cooling unit on and off. A maximum cooling switch sets the air temperature to maximum cooling in the vehicle passenger compartment by coupling the maximum cooling switch to the fresh-air/circulating-air damper, on a blower step switch, which controls the blower motor, and the cooling unit switch. Thus, a single switch conveniently and automatically sets to the maximum cooling setting.
Abstract:
A process of adapting mechanical tolerances of a transmitter wheel provided with a plurality of approximately equidistant markings which are sensed by a pick-up supplying a pulse train whose time interval is measured and stored, includes connecting a transmitter wheel with a rotating shaft of an internal combustion engine, carrying out a check as to whether or not the internal combustion engine is in thrust operation, and placing a second and following time intervals in relation to a first time interval when the thrust operation is detected.
