摘要: An OLED device comprising, in sequence, an anode, a light-emitting layer that comprises a phosphorescent light-emitting organometallic compound, a hole-blocking layer, and a cathode, and between the hole-blocking layer and the cathode, a further layer containing a mixture of a first compound that is a tetracene compound that has the lowest LUMO value of the compounds in the layer, in an amount greater than or equal to 10% and less than 90% and a second compound that is a low voltage electron transport material, exhibiting a higher LUMO value than the first compound in an amount less than or equal to 90% and more than 10%.

摘要: An OLED device comprises a cathode, an anode, and has therebetween: (a) a light emitting layer containing a non-light-emitting fluoranthene compound with a 7,10-diaryl substituted fluoranthene nucleus having no aromatic rings annulated to the fluoranthene nucleus; and (b) comprising still further an additional layer, containing an organic alkali metal compound, located between the cathode and the electron transporting layer. OLED devices of the invention provide reduced drive voltage and improved color, and provide embodiments with other improved features such as operational stability and high luminance.

摘要: Disclosed is an OLED device comprising a light-emitting layer (LEL) containing a host and a dopant located between a cathode and an anode wherein the emitter is an orange-red light emitting rubrene derivative represented by formula (I): wherein: a) there are identical oxy, aza or thio groups at the 2- and 8-positions; b) the phenyl rings in the 5- and 11-positions contain only para-substituents identical to the oxy, aza or thio groups in paragraph a); c) the phenyl rings in the 6- and 12-positions are substituted; and provided that when a single substituent on both phenyl rings in paragraph c) are present, said substituent is not a methoxy group located at the para-position.

In particular, the cluster compound is a neutrally charged mixed cluster compound comprising first and second subunits with the first subunit comprising an alkali metal salt of a nitrogen containing a heterocyclic ligand bearing a anionic hydroxy group and the second subunit consisting of an organic alkali metal salt different than the first subunit.

摘要: An OLED device comprising a cathode, an anode, and having therebetween a light emitting layer and an electron-injecting layer, where (a) the light emitting layer contains a host and up to 50 volume % of a light-emitting fluoranthene compound with a 7,10-diaryl substituted fluoranthene nucleus having no aromatic rings annulated to the fluoranthene nucleus; and (b) the electron-injecting layer being located between the cathode and the light-emitting layer contains an organic alkali metal compound. It provides reduced drive voltage, operational stability and luminance of OLED devices.

Such devices exhibit reduce drive voltage while maintaining good luminance.

摘要: An OLED device comprises a cathode, an electron-transporting layer (ETL), a light-emitting layer (LEL) containing a fluorescent light-emitting material, a hole-transporting layer (HTL), and an anode, in that order, wherein the ETL comprises a mixture of compounds, including a first compound and at least one second compound, and wherein there is present a hole blocking layer (HBL) adjacent to the LEL on the cathode side. It provides a reduced drive voltage with comparable color hue. The first compound is present in an amount of 50% to 90% by volume and is represented by Formula (2): Wherein R1 and R4 represent the substituent and neither are hydrogen; R2 and R3 represent hydrogen; Ar1 and Ar4 represent the same aromatic group; and Ar2 and Ar3 represent the same aromatic group.
