摘要: A portable auto-injector configured to store a dry medication separately from a liquid component, wherein removal of a cap operates a first actuation mechanism which opens a sliding valve and thus allows for the initiation of a mixing step prior to injection. An extendable needle guard is provided over the delivery assembly which prevents premature injection as well as inadvertent sticks or other cross contamination of a needle. The needle guard can also form part of a secondary trigger mechanism which injects the mixed components after the mixing stage is complete.

摘要: The present invention relates to a mixing and injector device which can include: a housing having a plurality of separate and distinct chambers disposed therein; one or more displacement mechanisms corresponding to each of the plurality of chambers disposed within the housing; a needle assembly being provided about one of the plurality of chambers, the needle assembly including the following: a septum; a needle being separated from the plurality of chambers by the septum, the needle having a proximal end configured to pierce the septum in an actuated state; and a needle carrier, the needle carrier being configured to translate axially with respect to and toward the septum and pierce the septum and provide fluid communication from the plurality of chambers through the needle in the actuated state.

摘要: Contemplated herein is a medication mixing device which can include a housing having therein a first chamber containing a first medicament component and a second chamber provided containing a second medicament component provided with a sealing structure selectively isolating the first chamber from the second chamber. The sealing structure can include a first sealing component having a first sealing interface and a second sealing component having a second sealing interface wherein a first compression force can be applied to the first and second sealing components causes the sealing interfaces to form a seal. The first compression force can then be configured to allow the first sealing component and the second sealing component to maintain at least one degree of freedom with respect to one another.
