To this end, the porous carrier layer consists of spattered particles having a completely irregular, non-circular geometry, and has a pore volume of at least 40 vol. % before the deformation process.

The invention relates to a slide bearing material comprising a metallic supporting layer and a metallic lead-free bearing layer consisting of densely sintered powder particles of tin bronze with bismuth additives. The aim of the invention is to create a lead-free slide bearing material with nevertheless good tribological properties and a high bearing capacity. To this end, the bearing metallic layer is formed from a sintering powder consisting of powder particles containing between 9.5 and 11 wt. % of tin and between 7 and 13 wt. % of bismuth and copper. The powder particles have a nobular form deviating from the regular spherical form but without edges and undercuts.

A friction bearing composite material comprises a metal base layer, a porous support layer applied thereto, and a low friction layer made from PTFE forming a bearing surface for a bearing partner. The low friction material forming the sliding surface also fills the pores in the support layer and comprises at least 60 vol. % PTFE and 10-25 vol. % zinc sulphide. In order to achieve a high wear resistance with a low coefficient of friction, the low friction material further comprises 1.5-3.5 vol. % carbon fibers and 1-7 vol. % PFA.

The strip section thus arising is rolled to form a hollow cylindrical sleeve with an open butt joint and a collar is placed around one or two sides. The open butt joint is expanded in the region of the collar to form a V-shaped slit. One or several recesses are made in the region of the later open butt joint on one or two of the longitudinal edges of the strip section.
