摘要： A shifting device for rolling stock placed on a roller conveyor includes a pair of linear shifting members which can be moved toward each other and away from each other transversely of the conveying direction of the roller conveyor and above the conveying plane of the roller conveyor, wherein the linear shifting members are each arranged on guide crossheads which are supported on rollers and are driven by drive devices arranged stationary outside of the roller conveyor so as to move the guide crossheads between and parallel to the rollers of the roller conveyor. The rollers supporting the guide crossheads are mounted in the two end portions of each guide crosshead and are guided on roller tables arranged on both sides of the conveying path of the roller conveyor and connected to the support frames of the roller conveyor.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for determining and setting the center of a roll stand and adjusting positions of a roll stand, wherein the bearing chocks of the horizontal rolls have processed planar support surfaces located opposite each other and preferably parallelepiped-shaped spacer pieces with defined dimensions are placed on these support surfaces. Defined pressures are applied to the spacer pieces by adjusting the rolls, wherein the resulting adjustment positions are determined and used as actual values for the position determining system which controls the roll stand during the rolling operation.

摘要： A rolling apparatus for rolling angle profiles from rolling stock has upper and lower horizontal profile rolls rotatable about respective parallel upper and lower axes and together defining an open or closed roll gap that lies in a rolling plane perpendicular to a travel direction of the rolling stock. At least one pair of nonhorizontal edging rolls laterally compress the rolling stock and define a rolling plane extending perpendicular to the travel direction of the rolling stock. The rolling plane defined by the profile rolls and the rolling plane defined by the pair of edging rolls are not coplanar with each other. This rolling stand can do angle rolling in reversing and also continuous operating mode.

One of the rolls is axially fixed and the other can be shifted axially in opposite directions so that shoulders of the rolls engage and these positions are stored along with a relationship of axial force and spring constants of the mill frame. The rolling then takes these stored values into consideration.

摘要： A universal roll stand includes two vertical housings each being composed of a single piece, upper and lower transverse girders arranged above and below the vertical housings and lateral support projections for receiving vertical rolls. Tie rods are guided by the vertical housings and the transverse girders. Crossheads are insertable into recesses of the lateral support projections. A rigid universal stand is formed by connecting and screwing together the two vertical housings through the crossheads and the upper and lower transverse girders with the tie rods.
