    摘要: In a rolling method applied to a multi-roll strip rolling mill composed of not less than four rolls, one of the zero point of the roll positioning devices and the deformation characteristic of the strip rolling mill or alternatively both the zero point of the roll positioning devices and the deformation characteristic of the strip rolling mill are found from a measured value of the thrust counterforces in the axial direction of the roll acting on at least all the rolls except for the backup rolls in the kiss-roll tightening state and also from a measured value of the roll forces of the backup roll acting on the backup roll chocks of the top and the bottom backup roll in the vertival direction. According to the thus obtained zero point of the roll positioning devices or the deformation characteristic of the strip rolling mill, the setting and control of the roll forces is executed when rolling is carried out.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for detecting chattering of a cold rolling mill rapidly and accurately, which occurs during cold rolling of a steel strips. The occurrence of the chattering is detected by a plurality of acoustic parameters derived from a sound measured in the vicinity of the cold rolling mill during the rolling. The acoustic parameters are the frequency range characteristic of the occurrence of the chattering, the acoustic intensities in the frequency bands which are n-th harmonics, the peak frequency of the acoustic frequency component distribution, the resonance factor, the peak intensity, and the like. A plurality of parameters may be provided by measuring and calculating the same parameter with different timing.

    摘要: The value of the rolling torque is measured at each frame through which a metal product passes, and the measurement is performed at the moment when said product reaches the following frame, at which point the frame at which the measurement is performed is switched over to torque regulation. The last frame reached by the product remains in speed regulation and it acts as a controlling frame for all other frames situated upstream therefrom so as to enable them to conserve torque equal to their respective reference torques by adapting their speeds. Once the reference torque measurements have been stored in the control system, regulation is obtained by making use of a distribution key for the stresses between the frames.

    摘要: A position detector used with a roll stand having a fixed frame member and a roll-carrying member movable in a direction relative to the frame member, has first and second sleeves telescoping in the direction adjacent the members, a mount securing one of the sleeves to one of the members, and a fixed-length but elastically bendable link rod extending in the direction and having one end fixed to the other of the members and an opposite end fixed to the other of the sleeves. Thus on relative movement of the fixed and movable members the sleeves slide in the direction in each other. A sensor rod having one end fixed in the first sleeve extends in the direction into the second sleeve. A position sensor in the second sleeve juxtaposed with the sensor rod determines a position of the members relative to each other in the direction.

    摘要: A monitoring and controlling system for monitoring and controlling various operating characteristics of machine components. The monitoring and controlling system includes a primary transceiver, with sensors and control devices, mounted integrally with the monitored component. The primary transceiver communicates with a secondary transceiver and receives its electrical power from the secondary transceiver without use of interconnecting communication or power cables. The integrated mounting of the primary transceiver and sensors within the monitored component without the use of interconnecting cables allows for replacement of the monitored component in harsh operating environments without the risk of damage to interconnecting electrical connectors and cables. The operating data detected by the sensor for the monitored component is communicated by the primary transceiver and the secondary transceiver to a monitoring network which analyzes the data to determine the need for maintenance of the monitored component.
