A marine-(navy) or commercial or yacht ship-type equipment system is for electrically driven ships having different sizes and driving power. The ships, as well as coast guard boats and customs boats, include standardized equipment segments for the propulsion and operation thereof. The individual equipment system for ship types consists of hulls, which are embodied according to the type of ship, i.e. are made according to size and specific task requirements and the equipment segments for propulsion, such as electrical oar propellers and waterjets, and for the operation of the ship such as the energy generator, the energy distributor and automation elements, are embodied according to type and according to driving power and function of the individual ships. The equipment segments are embodied in a prefabricated manner and can be installed on different areas in the hull of the ship.

The invention relates to an electric energy supply system for a ship, in particular for a navy ship that can be operated with a low IR signature and that is configured as an > (AES). Said system comprises a direct current network (DC), supplied by fuel cells, as a ship electrical system and network for normal propulsion and an alternating current network (AC) comprising generators, in particular for generating energy for high-speed propulsion. According to the invention, the generators are motor-driven, e.g. by means of at least one gas turbine or one diesel motor, preferably supercharged and the AC and DC network are interconnected in such a way that electric energy can be exchanged between them, in particular that electric energy can be withdrawn from the DC network and transferred to the AC network to start the motor-driven propulsion.

A continuous casting and rolling system for steel strips includes a vertically working two-roll casting device, a first device for adding molten steel to the casting device, a second device for guiding a cast strip produced by the casting device into a horizontal position, a horizontally working rolling mill for working the cast strip, and a reel device receiving the strip worked in the horizontally working rolling mill. Each of the casting device, the first device, the second device, the horizontally working rolling mill and the reel device are controlled by respective individual closed-loop control systems. The system also includes a central control system connected to the first device, the casting device, the second device, the rolling mill and the reel device for an integrated adjustment of the respective individual closed-loop control systems as a function of mathematical models. Each of the first device, the casting device, the second device, the rolling mill and the reel device is an individual component of the continuous casting and rolling system. The central control system automatically controls the individual components with respect to their interaction to produce a strip which is suitable for further processing to allow for effects control steps of one of the individual components on downstream components of the system.
