    摘要: Substituted quinoline compounds, processes for their preparation, composition containing them, and their use as safeners Compounds of the formula I and salts thereof ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 �lacuna! CN, C(.dbd.Z)--Q(A.sub.i X.sub.i).sub.q --R, --C(.dbd.Z)--QR*, 1,2,3,4-tetrazol-5-yl, 1,3,4-triazol-2-yl, 1,3-oxazol-2-yl, and the remaining radicals are as defined in claim 1, are suitable for use as safeners for protecting crop plants such as, for example, cereals, rice and maize, against herbicide damage. Some of the compounds are known and some are novel and they can be prepared from quinolin-8-oxy derivatives by the processes of claim 7.

    摘要: Compounds of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 to R.sup.9 are as defined in claim 1 are known as herbicides. When these compounds are applied in traditionally used amounts, this often results in damage to crop plants in the crops, when it is desired to achieve sufficient action against weeds typically occurring therein. However, according to the invention it is possible to reduce the application rates to 0.001 to 0.5 kg of a.i./ha in rice growing, and the action obtained against important harmful plants in rice from the species Sagittaria, Cyperus and Scirpus Eleocharis is nevertheless sufficient.
