A 5α-androstane-3β,5,6β-triol injection and its preparation are disclosed. The injection uses hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin as a solubilizing agent and the active ingredient is present at a weight ratio of 1-20:40-500 to the hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin. The injection may also comprise, by weight, 1-100 parts of at least one isotonic adjusting agent, 0-200 parts of at least one freeze drying filler, and 0-2000 parts of at least one solvent. The preparation method comprises dissolving hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin solution, 5α-androstane-3β,5,6β-triol and at least one additional soluble excipient in water for injection in sequence to obtain a raw injection solution, and subjecting the raw injection solution to decolorization, depyrogenation, filtration and sterilization to obtain the injection. Drying the filtrate yields a solid for injection.

A refractory product includes CaO component-containing refractory particles and MgO component-containing refractory particles. The refractory material contains, a chemical composition measured after it has undergone heating in a non-oxidizing atmosphere at 1000° C., one or more of the following metal oxides B2O3, TiO2, V2O5, P2O5 and SiO2 in a total amount of 0.1 to 5.0 mass %, and free carbon in an amount of 2 to 35 mass %, with the remainder including CaO and MgO whose mass ratio (CaO/MgO) is in the range of 0.1 to 1.5. In microscopic observation performed at room temperature on the refractory material which has undergone the above heating, an inorganic film comprised of CaO and the one or more metal oxides is formed in at least each CaO surface of the refractory particles each containing either one or both of a CaO component and an MgO component, with a thickness of 0.1 to 25 μm.

The embolism material for blood vessels comprises poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-butyl methacrylate) and a dispersion medium consisting of an electrolyte, a contrast agent, a pH regulator and water. The concentrations of the polymer, electrolyte and contrast agent are respectively 5-30 mg/ml, 0.1-30 mg/ml and 100-350 mg/ml based on iodine. The embolism material for blood vessels is suitable for embolization therapy of tumors in hypervascular and parenchymal visceral organs.
