摘要： A disk cleaner includes a polishing member which is adapted to be rotated while being engaged with a surface of the disk, thereby to polish the surface of the disk. The polishing member is disposed such that the rotational axis of the polishing member is kept perpendicular to the surface of the disk, thereby to cause the disk to rotate in one direction due to a frictional force between the polishing member and the surface of the disk. The rotational axis of the polishing member is spaced apart from a rotational axis of the disk in the radial direction of the disk, whereby only part of the polishing member engages the surface of the disk.

摘要： For removing a scratch or stain from a surface of a disk such as a CD, a disk cleaner/scourer/polisher device has a scouring member such as a buff. The disk is rotated about its axis, and the buff is pressed against the surface of the disk and rotated also with the axis of rotation of the buff being perpendicular to the surface of the disk, scouring is uniform and does not impair surface flatness. Changing between scouring members, between scratch removal and polishing is facilitated by a lifting mechanism for selectively pressing the corresponding scouring member against the surface.

摘要： A recoil starter for a backpack-type power working machine which is capable of easily and smoothly performed the starting operation even when the working machine is kept on the operator's back irrespective of differences in the operator's build. This recoil starter comprises a recoil grip which is attached to a distal end portion of a recoil rope extended out of the main body of the recoil starter, wherein the recoil grip is designed such that it can be anchored to a recoil grip-supporting member to be positioned close to an operator's waist and that it can be pulled out in front of the operator from the recoil grip-supporting member. The recoil grip-supporting member is made optionally alterable in position.

摘要： A portable electric working machine of the present invention includes a motor case portion housing an electric motor, a working portion driven by the electric motor, a handle connected to the motor case portion or the working portion and a power source switch disposed within a grip portion of the handle. Electric power is supplied to the electric motor through the power source switch. A spark-preventing capacitor accommodated within the motor case portion is interposed between a pair of terminals of the electric motor. The portable electric working machine of the present invention does not require a large-sized grip portion of a handle, and can prevent a locking of contacts of a power source switch due to contact transition by preventing sparking between the contacts so that a small-sized microswitch can be used.

摘要： A recoil starter having a driving member and a driven member, wherein the driving member further includes recoiling unidirectional rotating means. The recoiling unidirectional rotating means includes a movable locking claw member which is supported by one of the rope reel and the interlocking rotor in such a manner that it is rotatable therewith and movable in a direction along the rotational axis thereof, an urging member for urging the movable locking claw member toward the other of the rope reel and the interlocking rotor, and an engaging member mounted on the other of the rope reel and the interlocking rotor. The unidirectional rotating means is constructed in such a manner that, when the rope reel is rotated in the driving direction, the movable locking claw member is caused to contact and engage with the engaging member to thereby enable the rotation of the rope reel to be transmitted to the interlocking rotor, and that, when the rope reel is rotated reversibly to the driving direction relative to the interlocking rotor, the engagement between the movable locking claw member and the engaging member is released.
