摘要: A flowability improver for engineering plastics which comprises a polymer (A) comprising of 50 to 99.5% by mass of aromatic vinyl monomer units (a1), 0.5 to 50% by mass of (meth)acrylate monomer units (a2) having an ester group of phenyl or substituted phenyl group, and 0 to 40% by mass of other monomer units (a3) (with the proviso that the total of the units (a1) to (a3) is 100% by mass) and having a weight average molecular weight of 5000 to 150000. The flowability improver can improve engineering plastics in melt-flow characteristics (processability in molding) and chemical resistance without impairing the plastics in heat resistance, exfoliation resistance, and transparency.

In the case of using this thermoplastic resin composition in an engineering plastic, fluidity can be improved without impairing the characteristics of the engineering plastic. The engineering plastic composition of the present invention is preferably used in the field of housings and various parts of OA equipment, telecommunications equipment and home appliances such as photocopiers, facsimiles, televisions, radios, tape recorders, video decks, personal computers, printers, telephones, information terminals, refrigerators and microwave ovens, as well as in other fields such as automotive parts.

摘要: A polyarylene sulfide resin composition obtained by melt-mixing a mixture comprising resin components comprising as main resins(A) a polyarylene sulfide resin and(B) a polyorganopsiloxane graft copolymer obtained by graft-polymerizing one or more kinds of vinyl monomer containing at least an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer onto a compound rubber in which a polyorganosiloxane rubber and a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber have been inseparably united with each other. The composition of the present invention, whether it contains a filler or not, is excellent in compatibility between the polyarylene sulfide resin and polyorganosiloxane graft copolymer. If this composition is extrusion-molded or injection-molded under the common molding conditions, it keeps its original dispersed and mixed condition without showing a phase separation. Consequently, this composition has an excellent performance that impact resistance also has been given to the polyarylene sulfide resin without largely injuring excellent properties inherent to the resin. Particularly, this composition is very little deteriorated in impact strength when it is put in wet heat conditions under pressure, and therefore it is usable in such conditions.

摘要: One object of the present invention is to provide an unchlorinated type modified polyolefin resin which has excellent adhesion properties to a substrate comprising a resin having a low- or non-polarity and exhibiting hardly adherable properties, such as a polyolefin type resin, has an excellent solubility in a solvent, and has an excellent water resistance. The present invention provides a modified polyolefin resin produced by subjecting a polyolefin resin (A) to a graft modification by vinyl monomer(s) (B) comprising at least one (meth)acrylate monomer (b) in which an acryloyloxy group or methacryloyloxy group is bonded to a secondary carbon atom or tertiary carbon atom.
