This invention provides a PCB decomposition reactor which can decompose PCB efficiently. In this PCB decomposition reactor, an injector for injecting a mixture of water and sodium hydroxide into a reaction vessel is connected to the lower part of the reaction vessel. An outlet pipe for withdrawing the fluid treated within the reaction vessel is connected to the sidewall of the reaction vessel. The other end of the outlet pipe is connected to a cyclone for separating sodium carbonate from the treated fluid. A discharge pipe is connected to the top of the cyclone, so that the treated fluid from which the precipitated sodium carbonate has been removed is discharged therethrough. A downcomer for the separated fluid is connected to the bottom of the cyclone, so that the precipitated sodium carbonate and some fluid containing it are discharged therethrough. The lower end of the downcomer is connected to an injector, which has connected thereto a feed pipe for feeding a mixture of PCB and mineral oil. A gas supply nozzle for injecting a gas into the reaction vessel is installed at the bottom of the reaction vessel.

The present invention provides a PCB decomposing apparatus capable of decomposing PCB efficiently. The PCB decomposing apparatus comprises a PCB extracting container for extracting PCB from a PCB-containing material with an organic solvent. A distilling tower provided on the downstream side of the PCB extracting container distills the organic solvent to separate the PCB. A primary reactor provided on the downstream side of the distilling tower includes a nozzle for supplying aqueous Na2CO3 solution and a nozzle for supplying an oxidizing agent into the container. A liquid cyclone provided on the downstream side of the primary reactor can remove Na2CO3 having a large particle size. A secondary reactor formed by a long pipe is connected to the liquid cyclone. A gas-liquid separator provided on the further downstream side of the secondary reactor can separate a gas from a solution. A film separator separates treated water into purified water and a concentrated solution, and the purified water is supplied as circulating water to the upstream side of a pressure pump.

The present invention provides a substrate cleaning method capable of removing particles from the entire surface of a substrate to be processed at a high removing efficiency. In the substrate cleaning method according to the present invention, a substrate to be processed W is immersed in a cleaning liquid in a cleaning tank 12. Then, ultrasonic waves are generated in the cleaning liquid contained in the cleaning tank 12, so that the substrate W is subjected to an ultrasonic cleaning process. The step of generating ultrasonic waves includes a step of generating ultrasonic waves in the cleaning tank while the cleaning liquid is being supplied into the cleaning tank. A supply rate at which the cleaning liquid is supplied into the cleaning tank at a certain timing in the step of generating ultrasonic waves differs from a supply rate at which the cleaning liquid is supplied into the cleaning tank at another timing in the step of generating ultrasonic waves.

A management system connected with a clinical testing apparatus is disclosed. The system acquires, from the clinical testing apparatus, a parameter that varies according to deterioration of the unit at a plurality of points of time, stores the parameters and/or analysis results that are obtained by analyzing the parameters, and provides a screen data for showing the stored parameters and/or the stored analysis results in a time-series format. A method for managing a clinical testing apparatus and a clinical testing system for the method are also disclosed.

An audio decoding device comprises an audio decoding section for decoding first stream data and second stream data to generate two pieces of audio data and a data processing parameter, an external setting section in which a parameter corresponding to the data processing parameter is set, and an audio data processing section for processing the two pieces of audio data. When the data processing parameter contained in the second stream data is inappropriate, the audio data processing section performs data processing using the parameter set in the external setting section. When the data processing parameter contained in the second stream data is appropriate, the audio data processing section performs data processing using the data processing parameter generated by the audio decoding section.
