    摘要: A magnetic head comprises a substrate, a soft magnetic thin film, whose magnetic permeability varies according to the intensity of an external magnetic field applied thereto, formed over the surface of the substrate, means for supplying a high-frequency current to the soft magnetic thin film, and means for applying a bias magnetic field to the soft magnetic thin film. The magnetic permeability of the soft magnetic thin film varies according to the variation of the intensity of the external magnetic field and hence the potential difference between the opposite ends of the soft magnetic thin film with respect to the direction of flow of the high-frequency current varies accordingly. The variation of the potential difference is detected for magnetic signal reading. The soft magnetic thin film is formed of a material having a large magnetic permeability, such as amorphous CO.sub.75 Ta.sub.11 Zr.sub.14.

    摘要: A magnetic recording and reproducing head records a signal from and reproduces a signal from a magnetic recording medium having a perpendicularly magnetizable film. The magnetic recording and reproducing head includes a magnetic sensing section comprising a slender needle of a soft magnetic material, and an exciting coil wound around the slender needle for magnetizing the slender needle to record a signal on the magnetic recording medium. To reproduced the recorded signal, high-frequency electric energy is applied to the magnetic sensing section to produce a reflected wave, and a change in the reflected wave caused by a leakage magnetic field produced by a signal recorded on the magnetic recording medium is detected as representing the recorded signal.

    摘要: Additive elements are added to Fe-N soft magnetic thin films along with oxygen, so that the thermal stability is remarkably improved. After annealing treatment at approximately 550.degree. C., it is possible to provide an Fe-N soft magnetic thin film with a low coercive force. Similarly, it is also possible to provide a soft magnetic thin film having a low coercive force by introducing a combination of specific types of additive elements to Fe-N soft magnetic thin films. When oxygen is further added to the film, it is also possible to provide a soft magnetic thin film which has very excellent soft magnetic characteristics and good thermal stability. The soft magnetic thin films of the invention have good soft magnetic characteristics, a high saturation magnetic flux density and good thermal stability. A magnetic head of a metal-in-gap type using the soft magnetic thin film is also described.

    摘要: An antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves in a desired frequency band, includes a radiating conductor and a ground conductor, a feeder part, a wavelength-shortening section, and a magnetic field applying section. The radiating conductor and a ground conductor resonate at a resonance point frequency. The feeder part is configured to feed the radiating conductor with electricity. The wavelength-shortening section in which a magnetic body having both a dielectric property and a magnetic property is disposed close to the radiating conductor shifts the resonance point frequency into a band lower than the desired frequency band by a wavelength-shortening effect obtained based on the dielectric property and the magnetic property. The magnetic field applying section is configured to apply a magnetic field to the magnetic body so as to reduce a magnetic loss due to the magnetic body.

    摘要: A rotary magnetic head apparatus is provided which is capable of reliably supplying DC power for driving to an active-type reproducing head provided within a rotary drum and which is capable of taking the reproductive output signal of the active-type head to the outside of the drum. The rotary magnetic head apparatus includes a fixed drum, a rotary drum which is rotatable with respect to the fixed drum, an active-type reproducing head, disposed on the rotary drum, for reproducing information from a magnetic tape, a constant-current circuit, disposed on the rotary drum, for supplying a constant current for driving the head to the active-type reproducing head, a noncontact signal transmission device for taking the reproductive output signal which is output when the active-type reproducing head reproduces information from the magnetic tape to the outside of the rotary drum, and a sliding-type contact device for supplying external DC power to the constant-current circuit.
