摘要： Improved systems and techniques for controlling access to network resources. A base station broadcasts extended access barring (EAB) and access class barring (ACB) information. Upon a determination by a user equipment that the user equipment requires service from the base station, the user equipment determines its EAB category and call type. The user equipment receives the EAB and ACB information broadcast by the base station and determines if it is subject to EAB based on its EAB category. If the user equipment is not subject to EAB, the user equipment determines if its call type is subject to ACB and, if the call type is subject to ACB, applies access class barring based on its call type.

The method includes the following steps: paging locations in frames are determined for at least one device of the plurality of devices and a paging type indication indicative of a group paging or a dedicated paging is communicated to the at least one device to control calculation of paging locations according to the group paging mode or the dedicated paging mode in a predetermined manner. The device receives the paging type indication and in response thereto calculates the paging locations in received frames according to the group paging mode or the dedicated paging mode.

The device, upon receiving signaling containing information whether to continue the communications via the coexisting radios during handover, processes the handover and selectively communicates via at least one of the coexisting radios during the handover based on the information.

摘要： An apparatus and system of providing energy saving in a network are described. A target node receives, from a source node, a handover request to handover a UE due to at least one of entry of the source node into a power saving state or mobility optimization. In response, the target node transmits a relative energy efficiency value of Bits per Joule and periodic feedback related to a status of the UE for training an AI/ML energy saving model and stops the feedback in response to a stop parameter being met. The stop parameter is a first of: a predicted period of the source node to stay in the power saving state or time for a UE to connect to the target node, a percentage of UEs handed over that enter an idle or inactive state, and a percentage of UEs handed over that are further handed to another node.
