The method obtains the identification information on a content reception apparatus or a content backup apparatus by using an affordance function of a content transmission apparatus or a content providing apparatus. The method and the content transmission apparatus include obtaining identification information on a second apparatus by using a first apparatus; outputting confirmation information on the second apparatus from the first apparatus, based on the obtained identification information on the second apparatus; and wirelessly transmitting the content from the first apparatus to the second apparatus, so as to enable the content to be conveniently transmitted between the apparatuses and to provide easy accessibility to a content reception apparatus.

The mobile terminal apparatus includes a storage unit storing location information on an area; a location determination unit for determining a location of the mobile terminal apparatus; a network unit forming a network with one or more other mobile terminal apparatuses in the area; a control unit checking whether the mobile terminal apparatus has entered the area, based on the location information on the area and the determined location; and a screen configuration unit configuring a screen for providing information indicating locations of the one or more other mobile terminal apparatuses; wherein the control unit controls the network unit whereby the network unit obtains contents contained in one of the one or more other mobile terminal apparatuses, wherein the one mobile terminal apparatus is selected based on the information displayed on the screen and indicating the locations of the one or more other mobile terminal apparatuses. According to the apparatus and method, it is possible for users to share and watch user-created private media in real-time using bidirectional networking. Therefore, efficiency of media usage is increased.

The user interface navigates content using a method including displaying a first playlist on the basis of all reproducible pieces of content; receiving at least one content filtering condition; displaying a second playlist according to the received content filtering condition; and receiving a desired content select signal on the basis of the first playlist or the second playlist. Accordingly, the depth of a menu can be reduced, a playlist reflecting a user's preference can be created, and whether the content to be navigated exists can be more accurately perceived during content navigation.
