    摘要: Water dispersible carbon fibers, (1) wherein the surface oxygen concentration (O/C) of each of the single fibers is 0.03 or more and less than 0.12 as measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and forming a first contact angle with water of 75° or less as measured by the Wilhelmy method; (2) wherein the O/C is 0.12 or more and less than 0.20 and forming a first contact angle with water of 65° or less as measured by the Wilhelmy method; or (3) wherein the O/C is 0.20 or more and 0.30 or less and forming a first contact angle with water of 55° or less as measured by the Wilhelmy method; and wherein a sizing agent containing a surfactant as a major component has adhered to the single fibers of each of the water dispersible carbon fibers.

    摘要: A cathode-ray tube has an electron gun sealed in a neck in confronting relationship to the phosphor screen. The electron gun comprises a cathode assembly for emitting three electron beams, a main lens region for passing the electron beams therethrough, the main lens means including a high-voltage electrode or grid closer to the phosphor screen, and an assembly of electrostatic deflection plates, positioned closer to the phosphor screen than the high-voltage electrode, for converging the electron beams as one spot on the phosphor screen. An electrostatic convergence electrode assembly is disposed between the high-voltage electrode and the deflection plates. The electrostatic convergence electrode assembly may comprise three or two juxtaposed flat electrodes having electron beam passage holes. The voltages applied to the high-voltage electrode and the deflection plates are also applied selectively to the three or two electrodes of the electrostatic convergence electrode assembly for applying an astigmatic effect equally to the electron beams.

    摘要: An electron gun arrangement for color cathode-ray tubes comprising three cathodes for emitting electron beams, for example, for red, green and blue, and a main electron lens comprising three front electron lenses corresponding to the cathodes, respectively, and a back electron lens common to all the cathodes. Each front electron lens is formed with an aperture smaller than that of the back electron lens and is mounted so as to meet Fraunhofer conditions so that aberration is reduced. Electron beam transmitting apertures are formed in the grids forming the front electron lenses, respectively, with the respective center axes thereof parallel to each other, which makes it easy to manufacture the electron gun arrangement and enables accurate machining during manufacturing.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for producing carbon fibers which exhibit excellent adhesion to a matrix resin and have excellent processability. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a sizing agent-coated carbon fibers, wherein at least one kind of sizing agent that is selected from the group consisting of sizing agents (a), (b) and (c) described below is used for coating, in each of said sizing agents a bi- or higher functional epoxy compound (A1) and/or an epoxy compound (A2) being used as a component (A), and said epoxy compound (A2) having a mono- or higher functional epoxy group and at least one functional group that is selected from among a hydroxyl group, an amide group, an imide group, a urethane group, a urea group, a sulfonyl group and a sulfo group. The method for producing a sizing agent-coated carbon fibers is characterized in that the sizing agent is applied to carbon fibers and the resulting is subjected to a heat treatment within the temperature range of 160-260° C. for 30-600 seconds. (a) A sizing agent which is obtained by blending at least 0.1-25 parts by mass of a tertiary amine compound and/or tertiary amine salt (B1) having a molecular weight of 100 g/mol or more per 100 parts by mass of the component (A), said tertiary amine compound and/or tertiary amine salt (B1) being used as a component (B). (b) A sizing agent which is obtained by blending at least 0.1-25 parts by mass of a quaternary ammonium salt (B2) having a cationic moiety represented by general formula (I) or (II) per 100 parts by mass of the component (A), said quaternary ammonium salt (B2) being used as a component (B). (In the formulae, R1-R5 each represents a hydrocarbon group having 1-22 carbon atoms, a group that contains a hydrocarbon having 1-22 carbon atoms and an ether structure, a group that contains a hydrocarbon having 1-22 carbon atoms and an ester structure, or a group that contains a hydrocarbon having 1-22 carbon atoms and a hydroxyl group; and R6 and R7 each represents a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1-8 carbon atoms, a group that contains a hydrocarbon having 1-8 carbon atoms and an ether structure, or a group that contains a hydrocarbon having 1-8 carbon atoms and an ester structure.)     摘要: An electron gun for a color CRT has three cathodes disposed in parallel to each other, first to fifth grid electrodes and a convergence deflector. The electron gun is additionally provided with a tetrode magnetic field generator including a pair of permanent magnets having an astigmatic effect of the central beam of the electron gun on the cathode side of the convergence deflector. An astigmatism eliminator is provided to cancel astigmatic aberration of the side beams of the electron gun near the position where the electron beams are converged. The astigmatism eliminator is composed of a fifth grid electrode whose entrance has an electron beam passing hole of nearly elliptic shape.
