摘要: A first member is adapted to measure an electrocardiogram of a patient. A second member is adapted to measure a peripheral pulse wave of the patient. A first calculator calculates a pulse wave propagation time (PWTT) and a heart rate (HR) of the patient based on the electrocardiogram and the peripheral pulse wave. A second calculator calculates a cardiac output (CO) of the patient with an equation of CO=(αK·PWTT+βK)·HR, where α, β and K are coefficients inherent to the patient.

摘要: In order to measure a pulse rate and an oxygen saturation of a subject who is in an exercised state, each of two pulse wave signals obtained from the subject is separated into a signal component and a noise component. A frequency spectrum of the signal component and a frequency spectrum of the noise component are obtained. It is judged whether a body motion of the subject is occurred based on the frequency spectrum of the signal component and the frequency spectrum of the noise component. A pulsation frequency is determined based on the judgment as to the body motion. The pulse rate is calculated based on the pulsation frequency. The oxygen saturation is calculated based on a ratio of spectra of the two pulse wave signals corresponding to the pulsation frequency.

摘要: A method of measuring a pH of a solution includes: emitting light beams of two wavelengths from one side of a measuring region of a solution into which an indicator is mixed, while pulsating the solution in the measuring region; receiving at least one of transmitted light beams and reflected light beams of the emitted light beams on the other side of the measuring region, while pulsating the solution in the measuring region; obtaining absorbances of the two wavelengths based on the received at least one of the transmitted light beams and the reflected light beams; obtaining an absorbance ratio from the obtained absorbances; and calculating a pH value of the solution based on the obtained absorbance ratio and an absorbance ratio/pH value correspondence database which is previously stored.

摘要: A tonometry device includes a contact device for contacting the object, means for vibrating the contact device and the object, means for applying a voltage to the vibration means, means for measuring a current flowing through the vibration means, and an information processing means. The information processing means determines two resonance points of the device and the measured object by measuring current through the system at a plurality of vibrational frequencies. The information processing means then determines the internal pressure of the object by determining that a first pressure is higher than a second pressure by determining that the first pressure has a lower measured current than the second pressure at frequencies outside of the range of frequencies between the resonance points, and that the first pressure has a higher measured current than the second pressure at frequencies within the range of frequencies between the resonance points.
