    摘要: A developing unit includes a developer hopper, a toner reserve container that incorporates a replenishing roller and a replenishing opening forming a toner replenishing portion, arranged adjacent to the developer hopper in order to replenish the toner to the developer hopper. The toner reserve container further includes an agitator rotatable about a rotary shaft with a conveying sheet for conveying the toner to the replenishing roller. The conveying sheet is attached to the agitator so that it becomes close to the rotary shaft of the agitator. By this configuration, an adequate space can be secured between the top plate, i.e., an operable/closable lid, constituting the toner reserve container and the conveying sheet so that the distal part of the conveying sheet can efficiently retain the toner, thus making it possible to improve the conveyance performance to the replenishing roller and realize an uniform amount of conveyance.

    摘要: A developer cartridge capable of being fitted to the toner replenishing opening of a developer storage hopper has a sealing member for sealing the toner therein that is bonded to the rim of its replenishing opening to be opposed to the opening of the developer storage hopper. The bottom face of this developer cartridge which constitutes the bottom for supporting the toner stored therein is inclined upwards in the stripping direction of the sealing member, whereby the supplied amount of the toner at the stripping start of the sealing member is regulated when the sealing member is stripped so that the toner can be uniformly supplied across the full length of the developer storage hopper with respect to the stripping direction of the sealing member.

    摘要: A magneto-resistive (MR) head has an MR layer in a space formed by shield layers by providing a distance enough to protect magnetic flux, flowing through the MR layer from a recording medium through a gap formed by the shield layers, from leaking out to the shield layers. A flux guide is provided between the MR layer and the gap, and has an end magnetically connected to the MR, extending over an effective area of the MR head, and another end having a width a little narrower than a width of track of the recording medium. A side of the MR layer, opposite to the side connected with the flux guide layer is placed in a narrow space formed at a corner of the space. Magnetic flux leaked from the gap due to a sense current flowing through the MR layer is eliminated by making a current flow through a recording coil layer or through an electrically conductive layer placed in the space.

    摘要: An airflow sensor including a micro-heater having a film structure, which can reduce a warpage of the film structure even when a thick ness of the film structure to improve a mechanical strength thereof. An airflow sensor is provided with a monocrystalline silicon substrate having a hollow portion therein; a thin film heater portion as a micro-heater arranged above the hollow portion; and a temperature sensor. The thin film heater portion has a laminated structure of a lower thin film, a heater layer, and an upper thin film. The lower and the upper thin film respectively have a tensile stress film and a compressive stress film laminated with the tensile stress film, and are symmetry laminated with respect to the heater layer. The tensile stress film is made up of a Si3N4 film having a great moisture-proof characteristic; and the compressive stress film is made up of a SiO2 film having a great adhesion. Since these stress films cancel their internal stress each other, the internal stress can be released, and a warpage moment can be cancelled so that a warpage of the whole film structure can be restricted. Therefore, the mechanical strength can be improved even if the thickness of the film is increased.
