摘要: An inverter in which the three-phase power source is used as an input power source and the single phase voltage is outputted, is provided. The single phase output voltage of the inverter is applied onto the inductive coil of the inductive heat generation mechanism provided inside the rotating roller as the exciting voltage. Because the single phase voltage obtained by being phase-converted by the inverter is used, the unbalance is not generated among the phases of the three-phase power source which is the input power source.

摘要: In an induction heating roller apparatus of the present invention, Rolling bearings 10 and a sliding bearings 14 are provided between drive shafts 2 of a roller body 1 and a support rod 9. When a trouble occurs in the rolling bearings 10, a rotational torque is transmitted from the drive shafts 2 through the rolling bearings 10 to the support rod 9. The sliding bearings 14 operate during the transmission of the rotational torque to the support rod 9, and the rolling bearings 10 slips relative to the support rod 9. The slip prevents that the support rod 9 co-rotates with the drive shafts.

摘要: An induction heating roller apparatus comprises:a stationary shaft 23 having a plurality of hydraulic operating mechanisms 27 arranging in one line in the direction of axis, each hydraulic operating mechanism being made up of a cylinder 25 and a piston 26, and magnetic flux generating mechanisms 32 and 35 which comprise iron cores 30 and 33 and induction coils 31 and 34 wound on the latter 30 and 33; anda roller 21 which is rotatably supported on the stationary shaft 23, and has a cylindrical wall which includes jacket chambers 22 filled with a two-phase (gas and liquid) heating medium. In the apparatus, the magnetic flux generating mechanisms 32 and 35 being arranged on both sides of the stationary shaft in the direction of axis in such a manner that they are circumferentially 90.degree. away from the hydraulic operating mechanisms arranged in one line. Therefore, it is possible to provide an induction heating roller apparatus which is able to more accurately amend the configuration of the roller according to the amount of deflection, to make the surface temperature of the roller more uniform, and to perform thermal conversion with high efficiency.

摘要: An induction heating roller apparatus comprises a rotatable hollow cylindrical roller body made of magnetic material, a pair of end frames for closing the opposite opening ends of the roller body, having roller driving shafts in outer sleeve form, magnetic flux generating device comprising an induction coil wound on an iron core body positioned between the pair of end frames and in the hollow portion of the roller body, a pair of sleeve-like rods projecting from the opposite end surfaces of the iron core body and inserted for relative rotation into the outer sleeve of the shafts, and a pair of auxiliary magnetic flux generating mechanism comprising auxiliary induction coils wound on annular iron cores positioned inside the end frames and fixed at the base portion at which the sleeve-like rods are connected to the iron core body, and wherein the end frames comprise fitting edges fitted in the opposite openings in the roller body, flange portions continuous with the fitting edges and adapted to be applied to the opening end edges of the roller body, and conical bodies projecting, while decreasing in diameter, from the integral common locations between the fitting portions and flange portions toward the roller driving shafts, and wherein the axial lengths of at least the annular iron cores in the auxiliary magnetic flux generating mechanism is such that the annular end surfaces opposite to the base portions at which the iron cores are connected to the iron core body are positioned within the range of the conical portions of the end frames.

摘要: An induction heating winding structure 5 is installed inside a hollow roller 1, which is closed at its opposite ends by flanges 2A, 2B. Driving shafts 4A, 4B integral with the flanges having coaxial holes are rotatably supported. The induction heating winding structure 5 is supported at its opposite side by support rods 9A, 9B. The support rods are in the coaxial holes 10A, 10B of the driving shafts through bearings. The roller 1 and flanges 2A, 2B are fastened together through taper fit. When it is desired to release the roller 1 from the flanges, the driving shafts and the support rods are temporarily fastened and one driving shaft 4B is supported in a cantilever manner. The roller 1 is mounted on a transport mechanism for mounting and dismounting.

摘要: A glazing is disclosed comprising at least one ply of glass having an electrically conductive component on at least one surface, and an electrical connector electrically connected to the electrically conductive component through a soldered joint, the solder of the joint having a composition comprising 0.5 wt % or more indium, wherein the electrical connector comprises a nickel plated contact for contacting the solder. Also disclosed are solders having a composition comprising 14 to 75 wt % In, 14 to 75 wt % Sn, to 5 wt % Ag, to 5 wt % Ni, and less than 0.1 wt % Pb. Also disclosed is use of a solder having a composition comprising 0.5 wt % or more indium to solder a nickel plated electrical connector to an electrically conductive component on the surface of a ply of glass. The aspects of the invention improve the durability of electrical connections on glazing.
