    摘要: The optical apparatus includes an image pickup optical system including a focus lens, a controller controlling movement of the focus lens in an optical axis direction of the image pickup optical system, a shake detector detecting a shake amount of the optical apparatus in the optical axis direction, and a memory storing plural shake amounts sequentially detected by the shake detector. The controller calculates, in response to a start instruction of exposure for the image pickup and before start of the exposure, a predictive value of the shake amount for a time point of the exposure based on the plural shake amounts stored in the memory and including at least one shake amount detected after the start instruction of exposure. The controller moves the focus lens to a position corresponding to the predictive value before the start of the exposure.

    摘要: In a magnetic disk device including a magnetic disk coated with a lubricant, a face of a magnetic head slider, at a trailing side of the slider, is constructed so that all or part of an outer region adjoining other faces is made less wettable than other regions present at the trailing side face. For example, the trailing side face 13 of the magnetic head slider 8 has a protrusion 12 at both upper and lower ends of the face 13. Surface wettability of a face 12a forming the top of one of the protrusions 12 is reduced below surface wettability of other regions (a face 12c orthogonal to the face 12a, and a region 11). In addition, the other regions each have surface wettability that allows any sticking droplets of the lubricant to provide a sufficient wetting spread, but to such an extent that the droplets do not fall.This prevents a wetting spread of the lubricant to an air bearing surface, and hence, a fall of the lubricant from the magnetic head slider. Reliability is therefore enhanced.

The controller receives from a lens apparatus information on a time period for controlling the energization of the actuator, the information being set corresponding to the type of the actuator. During an image-pickup period in a state in which the aperture stop has been driven to a target aperture position, the controller outputs to the lens apparatus an instruction for stopping the energization of the actuator or reducing the energization amount thereof in response to the elapse of the time period. This can reduce power consumption.

    摘要: A camera system which is capable of performing highly accurate focusing in a short time by using two kinds of AF methods, is disclosed. The camera system calculates the target driving amount of the focusing lens based on the result of detection by a first focus detection unit, and performs a first driving control to drive the focusing lens toward a position corresponding to the target driving amount and a second driving control to drive the focusing lens based on the result of detection by the second focus detection unit. When the remaining driving amount to the target driving amount of the focusing lens by the first driving control becomes a predetermined amount, the camera system switches from the first driving control to the second driving control without stopping the focusing lens.

The controller sets the driving speed of the focus lens unit at the time of at least a final focus detection operation while it is moved toward an in-focus position, to a speed decelerated from the driving speed before the final focus detection operation.
