摘要: A structure extraction element obtains three-dimensional structure extraction data by extracting a tubular structure from volume data obtained by imaging a predetermined subject. A relating element relates positions on paths of a two-dimensional template representing a schematic diagram of a three-dimensionally branching tubular structure obtained by imaging a predetermined subject and positions on paths of the three-dimensional structure extraction data to each other. A projection image generation element generates a two-dimensional projection image by projecting voxel values of the tubular structure that is present on the paths of the three-dimensional structure extraction data onto corresponding positions on the paths of the two-dimensional template.

摘要: In energy subtraction processing, grid information representing grid use conditions at the time of imaging operations for a plurality of radiation images of an object is acquired. Weight factors are adjusted in accordance with the grid information, which has been acquired. A weighted addition or subtraction process is performed on corresponding pixels in the plurality of the radiation images of the object by use of the weight factors, which have thus been adjusted. A constituent image representing a predetermined constituent in the object is thus formed.

摘要: A plurality of different facial images is used to cause a face classification apparatus to learn a characteristic feature of a face by using a machine-learning method. Each of the facial images includes a face which has the same direction and the same angle of inclination as those of a face included in each of the other facial images and each of the facial images is limited to an image of a specific facial region. For example, the facial region is a predetermined region including only a specific facial part other than a region below an upper lip to avoid an influence of a change in facial expressions. Alternatively, if the apparatus is used to detect a frontal face and to perform refined detection processing on the extracted face candidate, a region including only an eye or eyes, a nose and an upper lip is used as the facial region.

摘要: Automatic photographing condition setting is achieved with accuracy. For example, when a shutter button is half-pressed, preliminary photographing is carried out under different photographing conditions to acquire preview images. Then, each of the preview images is subjected to a face detection process. Photographing conditions for photographing a person are automatically adjusted to be suitable for a face area in one of the preview images from which a face has been detected.

摘要: High frequency components are efficiently extracted from blurred images, and blur correction is efficiently performed. A blur analyzing means judges whether an image is a blurred image. If the image is judged to be a blurred image, blur data Q, which includes a blur width, is generated and transmitted to a blur correcting means. The blur correcting means extracts high frequency components from the image if the blur width is less than a predetermined threshold value, and performs blur correction by adding the high frequency components to the image. Meanwhile, if the blur width is greater than or equal to the threshold value, a reducing means reduces the size of the image to obtain a reduced image. Then, the blur correcting means extracts high frequency components from the reduced image, and performs blur correction by emphasizing and adding the extracted high frequency components to the reduced image.
