摘要: According to the present invention, in the first process, a pipe end of a long pipe is bent with a radius of curvature which is larger than a minimum radius of curvature to form a large R portion. That is to say, bending with a large radius of curvature (R) is performed to form a large R portion in a region in which cracking or excessive reduction of plate thickness of the bend outer-side portion, or buckling of the bend inner-side portion does not occur. Subsequently, in the second process, the pipe is bent with a small radius of curvature form a small R portion by pressing a pipe-end portion of the pipe from a pipe-end direction while fixedly holding the bend side wall of the pipe. In this way, it is possible to obtain an R-minimum elbow configuration irrespective of magnitude of an amount of elongation of material and further without special equipment or mechanisms, by minor modification of present equipment.

摘要: A coolant pipe connecting coupling in which a coolant passage is bent perpendicularly around a connecting portion has a low height connecting coupling and can reduce manufacturing costs. The coolant pipe connecting coupling includes a fixing block fixed to a connecting object by a bolt and a coolant pipe supported while being inserted into the fixing block. The coolant pipe is bent with an approximately zero bending radius. While at least an inside surface of the bending portion of the bending portion is received by the fixing block, the fixing block and the coolant pipe are fixed together. Therefore, a dimension of a connecting surface of the fixing block and the coolant pipe, that is, the height of the coolant pipe connecting coupling is set to be small. A coolant passage bent perpendicularly is not formed inside the fixing block, but coolant flow is bent perpendicularly by bending of the coolant pipe. Thus, manufacturing cost of the coolant pipe connecting coupling can be reduced.

摘要: An automotive air conditioner uses a non-azeotropic mix-type refrigerant of a higher boiling point refrigerant and a lower boiling point refrigerant. The automotive air conditioner changes its cooling capacity by varying the proportion of the lower boiling point refrigerant and the higher boiling point refrigerant. In order to madulate the proportion of the refrigerant, the present heat exchanger employs a rectifying means and a cooling means. The cooling means introduces the refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant circuit as the cooling medium when the air conditioner is not required high cooling capacity, so that lower boiling point refrigerant is separated and is stucked within the cooling means within a short while.

摘要: A toilet apparatus is provided in a lavatory having at least one stool, urinal, bidet, or similar toilet structure. The toilet apparatus comprises a detecting sensor for detecting constituents in the feces, urine, or both of a user, and an indicator for indicating or informing the user of his health based upon abnormalities in the constituents detected by the sensor. The apparatus is particularly useful in informing the user of a toilet of his health each time he uses the toilet.

摘要: This invention relates to a stand attachment structure for attaching a stand that supports a low-profile display unit, such as a liquid crystal display, in an upright position, and to a rear cabinet. In the rear cabinet (1), a stand mounting part (10) including a temporal fixing means (13) is provided to allow temporal fixation of a stand (5) to the rear cabinet (1). The stand mounting part (10) includes a hook (11) for retaining the stand (5) in a predetermined orientation, and a reinforcing rib (12) having functions of reinforcing the hook and of guiding an engagement tab (52) disposed on the stand (5) for insertion. Then, the stand (5) is temporarily fixed to a display unit (P) by engaging the engagement tab (52) disposed on the stand (5) with the hook (11), and finally secured to the display unit (P) with a set screw (B1) after temporal fixing.
