摘要: In an on-vehicle head up display device employing a catoptric system for a windshield glass of an automobile to project a display image onto an inner surface of the windshield glass, an optical system for letting a virtual image of the display image of a display means enter the windshield glass is adapted to make an angle formed by light beams of the virtual image entering the windshield glass less than a monocular resolving power. Further, an optical means for correcting parallax of the light beams of the virtual image is provided between the optical system and the windshield glass. Thus, a double image formation and binocular parallax may be eliminated.

摘要: To increase the stability and sensitivity of a vibrational angular velocity sensor, the vibrator is airtightly housed within a glass vacuum casing whose inside surface is coated with a metallic film. Further, conductive lead pins electrically connected between vibrator signal terminals and a printed circuit board for a signal processing circuit and fixing pins mechanically fixed to the printed circuit board are arranged with a constant length outside the casing in parallel to each other. Further, two vibrator support pins are fixed to the glass casing by glass material. To obtain a high vacuum within the glass casing, a subcasing including a getter is connected to the casing through a connecting tube cut off or sealed after evacuation.

摘要: In a head-up display such that display images of instruments within a dashboard can be projected upon part of a windshield of an automotive vehicle, the holographic head-up display apparatus comprises a light emitting display unit; a transmissive hologram plate; and a reflective hologram plate. Since visible display images can be seen by the driver after having been passed through the transmissive hologram plate and reflected from the reflective hologram plate, blur of the display image due to chromatic aberration can be cancelled out, thus providing clear head-up instrument images.

摘要: A displaying apparatus for a vehicle to project a pattern to be displayed of an indicator on a half mirror disposed in front of a driver's seat such that a driver of the vehicle sees the pattern overlapping views outside a front windshield of the vehicle. The displaying apparatus comprises a projector for projecting the pattern. The projector includes the indicator, etc., and is received within a case which is provided to a ceiling in the interior of the vehicle to accommodate a room lamp. The half mirror is fitted to a fitting device installed on a dashboard of the vehicle such that an angle of the half mirror is freely set. The half mirror is set on the dashboard at an angle in a range between 100 and 120 deg. the angle being formed toward the front windshield from a horizontal line (0 deg) extending to the driver.

摘要: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head having a nozzle, a pressurizing chamber that communicates with the nozzle, and a pressurizing element that causes a pressure change in liquid within the pressurizing chamber, the liquid ejecting head being capable of ejecting liquid from the nozzle by operating the pressurizing element; and a driving signal generation unit that generates a driving signal including a driving pulse that drives the pressurizing element. The driving signal includes an ejection driving pulse that ejects a liquid droplet and a non-ejection driving pulse that drives the pressurizing element to a degree whereby a liquid droplet is not ejected. The ejection driving pulse is a pulse waveform having an expansion element that causes the pressurizing chamber to expand and retract a meniscus toward the pressurizing chamber and a constriction element that causes the pressurizing chamber expanded by the expansion element to constrict and push the meniscus in the direction of ejection. The non-ejection driving pulse is a pulse waveform having an expansion element that causes the pressurizing chamber to expand and retract the meniscus toward the pressurizing chamber, a holding element that holds the voltage at the end of the expansion element for a set amount of time, and a constriction element that causes the pressurizing chamber expanded by the expansion element to constrict and push the meniscus in the direction of ejection. When the length of time from the end of the constriction element in the ejection driving pulse to the beginning of the expansion element in the non-ejection driving pulse is taken as t, the lengths of time of the expansion element, holding element, and constriction element in the non-ejection driving pulse are taken as a, b, and c, respectively, and the inherent vibration cycle of the liquid within the pressurizing chamber is taken as Tc, t, a, b, and c are within the ranges defined by the following equations (1) through (3): Tc/4≦t≦Tc/2  (1) (5Tc/8)−t≦a≦(3Tc/4)−t  (2) b+c=Tc−t−a  (3)
