    摘要: An apparatus for processing a speech signal includes a coefficient calculating circuit for receiving an input signal, and for generating a first value for suppressing a change of level of the input signal; a first delay circuit for receiving the input signal, and for delaying the input signal by a predetermined time; a feature extracting circuit for receiving the input signal, and for deriving a feature value representing a feature of consonants from the input signal; a coefficient control circuit for receiving the first value from the coefficient calculating circuit and the feature value from the feature extracting circuit, and for changing the amplitude and the duration of the first value depending on the feature value, so as to generate a second value; a multiplying circuit for receiving the delayed input signal from the first delay circuit and the second value from the coefficient control circuit, and for multiplying the delayed input signal by the second value.

    摘要: A howling detector is provided which can discriminate between howling and a signal having a strong narrow-band component, thereby detecting howling with higher accuracy. The howling analyzer includes a frequency analyzing section for analyzing a frequency of a time signal, a level calculating section for calculating a level of a signal output from the frequency analyzing section, a howling detecting section for deciding whether howling occurs or not by analyzing the level having been calculated by the level calculating section, a periodic signal detecting section for deciding whether or not time progression of the level having been calculated by the level calculating section has periodicity, and a howling deciding section for finally deciding whether howling occurs or not based on decision results of the howling detecting section and the periodic signal detecting section.

    摘要: A technique is disclosed, which can shorten attack time and release time without using RC filter with time constant. According to this technique, diodes 51 and 52 rectify AC signal at output stage of an amplifier 30 by voltage doubler rectification, and a smoothing capacitor 53 smoothens the signals rectified by the diodes 51 and 52. A transistor 41 of an attenuation circuit 40 turns on when DC voltage smoothened by the smoothing capacitor exceeds a predetermined level, and level of the output signal of the amplifier is attenuated by drawing the input signal of the amplifier.
