摘要： An automatic electronic flash measures brightness of a predetermined photographing angle including a photographic object, and using the measured brightness and film sensitivity indicates a stop value to be set in camera when the photographic scenery has rear light, and the automatic electronic flash operation is automatically lowered by the extent of F-stop value (automatic F-stop value) of 1-2 EV than the indicated stop value, thereby satisfactory automatic fill-in photographing with the automatic electronic flash can be made; and the automatic electronic flash further comprises means to warn when the brightness of the photographic scenery changes from the measured value, and besides, the above-mentioned controlling corresponding to the automatic F-stop value is examined taking account of the scenery brightness and film sensitivity and produce another warning when automatic F-stop value is an impractical value.

摘要： In an electronic flash device of the type having a power supply unit comprising a low DC power supply and a DC-DC converter and an IC memory which can maintain its stored information even if when a power supply switch is turned off, there are provided a backup capacitor which can maintain the normal and stabilized operation of the IC memory which is connected to the power supply even when the voltage of the power supply drops to such a level that the normal and stabilized operation of the IC memory cannot be maintained; a voltage detecting means for detecting the voltage across the power supply; and a control circuit which responds to the output signal from the voltage detecting means so as to control the operation of the DC-DC converter.

摘要： An electronic flash device capable of automatically controlling the quantity of a flash of light or a flash duration in response to the intensity of light reflected from a subject, is provided with a means which is responsive to an electrical signal, which is derived from a camera or an arithmetic circuit incorporated in the electronic flash device and represents one of a plurality of f numbers which is selected, so as to control a flash light control means which in turn, for instance, determines a flash duration of a flash lamp and hence the quantity of a flash of light emitted therefrom. Therefore, the quantity of a flash of light can be controlled in steps equal in number to f numbers which can be selected.

摘要： A wiring pattern inspection apparatus for inspecting an abnormality of a wiring pattern formed on a printed circuit board, which is equipped with an optical image pickup device for optically illuminating a surface of the printed circuit board including the wiring pattern to photoelectrically convert optical information of the printed circuit board surface due to the optical illumination into a grey level image. This grey level image is converted into a bi-level image which separates the grey level image into the wiring pattern side and a background side of the wiring pattern. Thereafter, the bi-level image is once contracted by a first size and then expanded by a second size so as to eliminate a micro conductive portion left on the printed circuit board or a micro pinhole which can be disregarded in the abnormality inspection, thereby preventing the excessive detection.

摘要： A beam of light is applied to a surface of a circuit board provided with at least one solder portion. The light beam scans the surface of the circuit board. Height data are derived from a portion of the light beam which is scattered at the surface of the circuit board. The height data represent a height of a currently-scanned point of the surface of the circuit board. The height data are accumulatively added for the solder portion. A variation in the height data is calculated. The accumulative addition of the height data is executed and suspended in response to the calculated variation in the height data. A decision is made as to whether the solder portion is acceptable or unacceptable on the basis of a result of the accumulative addition.

摘要： A microwave-heating apparatus comprising a high-power microwave oscillator which rises in its output power in a shorter time required than a time for irradiating a testing animal, a waveguide connected to the high-power microwave oscillator, a measuring member for measuring reflection coefficient connected to the waveguide and capable of being separated from the waveguide, an impedance matching part connected to the output part of the waveguide, an applicator formed by a short-circuited tapered rectangular waveguide connected to the output part of the impedance matching part, and a container for fixing a head of the animal which is inserted as a load peeping into the applicator through an insertion port provided in the wall of the applicator, whereby the measuring member for measuring reflection coefficient operates while the high-power microwave oscillator is switched off. According to the apparatus, the heads of animals can be heated under the same heating condition so as to obtain repeatable data.

摘要： An inspection apparatus for inspecting a wiring pattern on a printed board by illuminating the printed board with light to photoelectrically convert light reflected from the printed board into an optical grey level image corresponding to the wiring pattern thereon, the grey level image being converted into a bi-level image. The inspection apparatus includes a thinning circuit to perform a thinning process for removing the bi-level image by one picture element from the background side of the wiring pattern, the thinning process being repeatedly performed predetermined times with respect to all of picture elements of the wiring pattern to output the number of repetitions of the thinning process and further to output a skeleton image. Also included is a distance image converter to output a distance conversion image where the number of repetitions is given as a distance value from the background of the wiring pattern. The inspection apparatus compares the distance value of the distance conversion image with one or more thresholds along the skeleton image. This arrangement allows direct detection of the wiring pattern width, thereby permitting the wiring pattern inspection with a simple structure.
