摘要: A motor drive circuit includes: a drive circuit configured to drive a motor whose coil current decreases with increase in counter electromotive voltage of a motor coil; a detection circuit configured to detect whether or not a current value of the coil current is greater than a predetermined value; a first control circuit configured to control the drive circuit so that the current value of the coil current becomes smaller than or equal to the predetermined value, when it is detected that the current value of the coil current is greater than the predetermined value; and a second control circuit configured to control the first control circuit so that the first control circuit does not control the drive circuit based on a detection result of the detection circuit until a predetermined time has elapsed from a start of supply of the coil current.

摘要: A motor-drive circuit comprising: a current-passage-control circuit to perform ON/OFF control of a drive transistor connected to a motor coil to pass current through the motor coil; an overcurrent-state-detection circuit to detect whether current passing through the drive transistor is in an overcurrent state where the current exceeds a predetermined threshold value; a charging and discharging circuit to start charging a capacitor in response to detecting the overcurrent state by the overcurrent-state-detection circuit and subsequently discharge the capacitor in response to not detecting the overcurrent state; and an overcurrent-protection-control circuit to stop the ON/OFF control to turn off the drive transistor, for an elapsed charging period for a charging voltage of the capacitor at a predetermined voltage to exceed a threshold voltage, and determine whether to perform such an overcurrent-protection-control as to turn off the drive transistor by detection of the overcurrent state, after the charging period has elapsed.

摘要: A first linearly polarized bundle of rays of incident rays is converted by optical modulation with an input video signal into a second linearly polarized bundle of rays orthogonal to the first rays in polarization. The first rays pass through a polarizer before optically modulated. A second linearly polarized bundle of rays originally involved in the incident rays is reflected by the polarizer in a first direction. The second rays obtained by the optical modulation are reflected by the polarizer in a second direction. The second rays reflected in the second direction pass through another polarizer. A first linearly polarized bundle of rays involved in the reflected second rays is reflected by the other polarizer. The reflected first rays is detected by an optical sensor that is positioned outside an optical path of the second rays originally involved in the incident rays and reflected in the first direction.

摘要: A plate-making apparatus equipped with an optical system and a light-light transforming device comprising a photoconductive layer and a light-modulation layer which are in confronting relation to each other and which are interposed between a pair of electrodes. The optical system supplies optical information to the photoconductive layer, and the pair of electrodes are for generating an electric field therebetween to be applied to the photosensitive layer and the light-modulation layer. Also included in the apparatus for emitting light having a predetermined wavelength, the light being led to the light-modulation layer to generate reflection light therefrom which is modulated in correspondance with the optical information supplied from the optical system to the photoconductive layer. The reflection light is arranged so as to illuminate a photosensitive resin layer, which is in turn denatured or hardened in response to the illumination so as to produce a print plate.

摘要: A cinematographic system records motion-picture images on an elongate information recording medium which includes either a charge storage layer or a light modulating layer. The recorded images are reproduced and projected onto a screen. If the charge storage layer is employed, the motion-picture images are recorded as corresponding electric charge images photoelectrically converted from optical images, and if the light modulating layer is employed, image information corresponding to the motion-picture images is recorded under an electric field depending on electric charge images photoelectrically converted from optical images.
