摘要: Disclosed is a sliding bearing having excellent fatigue resistance property under a high specific load. The sliding bearing has a back metal layer 2, an Al-base alloy intermediate layer, and an Al-base bearing alloy layer which contains grains of an intermetallic compound consisting of Al and at least two other elements. The grains include relatively smaller size grains each having a grain size of less than 0.5 μm. The smaller size grains are dispersed in the Al-base bearing alloy layer with a density of not less than eight grains per 1 μm2 in an optional sectional area of the Al-base bearing alloy layer

摘要: A slide member provided with an Al-based alloy layer including Si and having a first contoured surface having first planar surfaces and first convexities consisting of Si particles protruding from the first planar surfaces; an intermediate layer that coats the Al-based alloy layers an overlay that coats the intermediate layer; wherein 90% or more of the Si particles protruding from the first planar surfaces are configured to have a predetermined particle diameter of 2 μm or less, the Si particles having the predetermined particle diameter being distributed in the Al-based alloy layer with a distance between centers of gravity of the Si particles having the predetermined particle diameter averaging 6 μm or less, and wherein the overlay has a second contoured surface having second planar surfaces and second convexities conforming with the first planar surfaces and the first convexities of the first contoured surface.

摘要: The present invention has been made by the fact that the wettability with lubricant increases when tin grains are broken within a certain range. In an aluminum-based bearing alloy containing from 2 to 20 mass % of tin, the tin grains in a sliding surface have a size not less than 20 μm2 but not more than 50 μm2 expressed in region partitioned areas of the tin grains measured in accordance with a region partitioning method.

The slide member includes a Cu-based bearing alloy layer; an intermediate layer provided over the Cu-based bearing alloy layer; and a Sn-based overlay provided over the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer consists of one or more materials selected from a group of Ni, Ni alloy, Co, and Co alloy and is thinner than 4 μm. The Sn-based overlay contains Sn and 6 mass % or more of Cu.
