摘要： A three-dimensional image display device includes a luminance controller receiving a three-dimensional enable signal, a backlight data signal and at least one starting signal of a scan starting signal, a vertical blank starting signal and a backlight starting signal. The luminance controller outputs a backlight control signal and a backlight unit is operated based on the backlight control signal and is coupled to the luminance controller. The backlight data signal is based on a previous pulse of the starting signal and is applied from a first time when a current pulse of the starting signal starts to a second time when a next pulse of the starting signal starts.

The LCD includes a timing controller which receives a first image signal corresponding to a first frame frequency and outputs a second image signal corresponding to a second frame frequency; a liquid crystal panel which receives the second image signal and displays an image using the second frame frequency; and a plurality of light-emitting blocks which provide light to the liquid crystal panel, wherein the light-emitting blocks are divided into a plurality of light-emitting groups, each group including at least one of the light-emitting blocks, and, in a first operation mode, a frame, which corresponds to the second frame frequency, includes an off section in which at least one of the light-emitting groups is turned off.

The power part provides an external voltage to the electronic device and simultaneously charges the storage battery, upon determining that the external voltage is provided to the power supply apparatus. The solar battery part charges the storage battery using a voltage output by a solar battery upon determining that the external voltage is not provided to the power supply apparatus and the electronic device is not in use, and provides the voltage output by the solar battery and the charged voltage output by the storage battery to the electronic device, upon determining that the external voltage is not provided to the power supply apparatus and the electronic device is in use.

摘要： Disclosed are a display device and a method of driving the same capable of improving display quality and reducing the manufacturing cost. A display device includes a display panel displaying images corresponding to image signals, a light-emission block supplying backlight to the display panel, and a backlight driver outputting a light data signal for determining luminance of backlight. One of a plurality of linear gamma curves is selected from a lookup table in accordance with average image luminance during prescribed frames, and the duty ratio of the light data signal is determined on the basis of the selected linear gamma curve. Each of the linear gamma curves represents the relationship between the average image luminance and the duty ratio of the light data signal.

摘要： A method of driving a display apparatus for an embodiment comprises a light source module divided into a plurality of light-emitting blocks to provide light to a display panel, a local dimming driving part driving the light-emitting blocks, and a timing controller controlling the driving timing of the display panel and the local dimming driving part. The timing controller transmits a luminance pulse having representative grayscale values of an image corresponding to the light-emitting blocks and a synchronization signal including information of a start position of the representative grayscale values to the local dimming driving part. The local dimming driving part drives the light-emitting blocks using the representative grayscale values obtained from the luminance pulse.
