The first cassette contains a first control wafer used for a first metrology process. The second cassette contains a second control wafer used for a second metrology process. The processing tool receives the first cassette and processes the first control wafer, and receives the second cassette and processes the second control wafer. The first metrology tool receives the first cassette from the processing tool, and performs the first metrology process on the first control wafer processed by the processing tool. Meanwhile, in the LED packaging method, a plurality of LED chips can be loaded on board rapidly and aligned by one operation to result in less deviation in the candela distribution curve.

A global positioning system (GPS) receiver with extended 1-second hot start capability has an RF chip, a baseband chip, a battery and a LDO regulator. When the GPS receiver is turned on, a main supply voltage charges the battery to store backup power. Once the main supply voltage is turned off, the baseband starts a countdown period. During the countdown period, critical portion of the RF chip, the baseband chip and the regulator use the backup power to continue keeping time. If the GPS receiver is restarted during the countdown period, the GPS receiver has retained information to allow 1-second hot start and the GPS receiver generates position fix instantaneously.

Meanwhile, the present invention may also help to find those lawless persons who steal and fell illegally the forestry resources so as to ensure the safety of working environment for forest managing staff and sustainable management of forest and natural resources.

A self-organized nanometer interface structure is disclosed. During the reactive sputtering process, the chemical dynamics difference among reactants induces self-organization to form a special nanometer interface structure. The nanometer interface structure naturally form an interface potential difference so that it has a rectifying effect in a particular range of potential variation range. Therefore, it functions like a diode. Such a self-organized nanometer interface structure can be used in the manufacturing of diodes, transistors, light-emitting devices, and sonic devices. The invention has the advantages of a wide variety of material selections, highly compatible processes, easy operations, and low-cost fabrications.
