摘要: A multi-display control system enables an operation screen to come up on an operator's front screen when an application performing a display operation changes, without the need for the operator to move the display image. When the conditions for image detection have been met, it is detected where the position of a mouse is on a hypothetical single-sheet page 5 (process 1). Next, from the position detection result it is assessed if the mouse is on a second sub display apparatus 8 (process 2). Then in the case where the assessed operating screen is not the main display apparatus 6, the screen contents of the second sub display apparatus 8 and the screen contents of the main display apparatus 6 are exchanged and displayed on the respective image display apparatuses. That is, the screen contents of the second sub display apparatus 8 are transformed to the main display apparatus 6, and the screen contents of the main display apparatus 6 are transformed to the second sub display apparatus 8 (process 3). As a result, the working space shown by the mouse can always be brought to the front screen, and the operating efficiency of the image display can be further improved.

摘要: In a video display device of the present invention, a main control unit is equipped with a user interface for varying correction values set to a range correction unit and controls a range correction unit by acquiring the corresponding correction values from a storage unit in accordance with correction level information input by the user interface. The storage unit stores range correction values for the video display unit in correspondence with each piece of the correction level information input by the user interface. Thus, it is possible to correct luminance ranges to suit the user's preference without causing a large luminance reduction.

摘要: In a display apparatus that receives and then displays R, G, B signals transmitted from a computer via a cable, when correcting phase differences between the respective signals that are generated while the signals are being transmitted, the phase correction amount can be reduced and phase adjustment performed automatically by a simple circuit structure. In a phase detection section, the phases of R, G, B signals input from a PC relative to a horizontal synchronization signal HD are detected, and based on the result of these detections, a calculation section 11 determines which color signal from the R, G, B signals has the greatest delay relative to the horizontal synchronization signal HD, and also determines the phase differences of the remaining two signals relative to the most delayed signal. A control section then performs control such that the delay amount of the delay circuit of the most delayed color signal out of the delay circuits is set to zero, and the delay amounts of the delay circuits of the remaining two color signals are controlled in accordance with the above phase differences.

摘要: A surge absorbing element is parallel connected to an electronic device via a pair of communication lines. A normally closed thermal response switch is serially connected between the electronic device and the signal source on the input side of the surge absorbing element. When a surge voltage is instantaneously applied to the communication lines, the thermal response switch remains in the closed position and the surge absorbing element acts to suppress the surge voltage. When an overvoltage or over current is continuously applied to the communication lines, the thermal response pieces of the thermal response switch open and simultaneously release the movable body. Consequently, the electronic device is disconnected from the signal source, thus stopping the continuous overvoltage or overcurrent from flowing to the electronic device and the surge absorbing element. Simultaneously, the reset pin is projected through the casing. After the temperature of the switch decreases, the switch is reset to the closed position by pushing a reset pin which reconnects the electronic device to the communication lines.
