摘要: A solution polymerization process for producing ethylene-based polymer includes introducing ethylene monomer, hydrocarbon solvent, and Ziegler-Natta catalyst into an entrance of a solution polymerization reactor. An ethylene-based polymer is produced by solution polymerizing the ethylene monomer in hydrocarbon solvent. Subsequently, a catalyst deactivator is introduced into x the exit of the solution polymerization reactor, thereby producing hydrochloric acid byproduct. The catalyst deactivator includes long chain carboxylate and at least one cation selected from Groups 1, 2, and 12 of the IUPAC periodic table, with the exception of calcium. The catalyst deactivator reduces the effectiveness of the Ziegler-Natta catalyst and neutralizes the hydrochloric acid by forming a chloride salt other than calcium chloride.

摘要: A process for the continuous synthesis of a diene elastomer is provided. The synthesis is conducted by means of n reactors r1 to rn, considered to be continuous stirred-tank reactors, which are equipped with an internal stirring system. The reactors are arranged in series, n varying from 2 to 15, preferably from 2 to 9. The reactor r1 is fed by an input solution comprising a solvent, one or more monomer(s), an anionic polymerization initiator chosen from lithium amides and a polar agent. The conversion by weight C1 in the first reactor is less than 70%, and the total conversion by weight Cn at the outlet of the reactor rn is greater than or equal to 70%.

摘要: A method for industrial production of a butadiene-isoprene copolymer rubber having a trans-1,4-structure (TBIR) and an apparatus for implementing the method. The production method includes: pumping a predetermined amount of a butadiene and an isoprene into a polymerization reactor, and performing bulk polymerization in the presence of a catalyst to obtain TBIR; performing extrusion, devolatilization, granulation and drying on the produced TBIR, and then packaging the produced TBIR; and separating unreacted monomers by a recovery and separation device followed by separately refining the unreacted monomers, and then returning the unreacted monomers to a batching device or a storage tank. The production apparatus has a recovery and refining unit, a polymerization unit, a post-treatment unit and a utility unit. By the production apparatus and the production method industrial production of TBIR by bulk polymerization is realized.

摘要: A catalyst system comprising a combination of: 1) one or more catalyst compounds having at least one nitrogen linkage and at least one oxygen linkage to a transition metal; 2) a support comprising an organosilica material, which is a mesoporous organosilica material; and 3) an optional activator. Useful catalysts include ONNO-type transition metal catalysts, ONYO-Type transition metal catalysts, and/or oxadiazole transition metal catalysts. The organosilica material is a polymer of at least one monomer of Formula [z′OZ2 SiCH2]3(l), where Z1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4alkyl group, or a bond to a silicon atom of another monomer and Z2 represents a hydroxyl group, a C1-C4alkoxy group, a C1-C6alkyl group, or an oxygen atom bonded to a silicon atom of another monomer. This invention further relates to processes to polymerize olefins comprising contacting one or more olefins with the above catalyst system.
