摘要: A method of analyzing a sample solution containing an ionic species of interest paired with an ionic species of the opposite sign comprises introducing the sample solution into a separation column with an eluant solution, introducing an eluate from the separation column into the inner passage of a diffusion type deionizer of the double tubular construction which is defined by a tube of an ion exchange composition, while a scavenger solution is introduced into the outer passage of the deionizer in a direction of flow opposite to that of the eluate in the inner passage, whereby the ionic species of the opposite sign is removed from the eluate into the scavenger solution, and measuring the electric conductivity of the eluate from the deionizer to thereby determine the concentration of the ionic species of interest in the sample solution. An apparatus for carrying out this method is also disclosed.

摘要: Method and apparatus for analysis, by ion chromatography, of anions, in a sample solution, wherein accurate analysis of anions in the sample solution is obtained by passing carbonic acid, through a prescribed membrane, into the sample solution, thereby completely eliminating or sharply lessening the so-called water dip effect. The method and apparatus are further directed to enabling anions in the sample solution to be accurately analyzed by passing prescribed cations, through a prescribed membrane, into the sample solution, thereby depriving the sample solution of interfering anions otherwise abundantly present therein.

摘要: A vibration type liquid density meter comprising a base, a connector having a mass substantially smaller than said base, two hollow cylindrical elongated pipes each having two ends, one end of each pipe connected to the base, and the other end of each pipe connected to the connector with the pipes disposed substantially parallel to each other and a piezoelectric element attached to the connector for driving the pipes into self excited oscillation at their natural frequency. The liquid to be measured is supplied through the base, pipes and connector and the density of the liquid is measured by the frequency of oscillation with corrections for temperature.

摘要: In an apparatus for conducting solubilization chromatography wherein a solvent consisting of a buffer and ionized micells is allowed to flow through a capillary tube whose both ends are connected to the plus and minus sides, respectively, of a DC source, then a sample is introduced into the capillary tube, components of the sample are separated by combination of dissolution phenomenon of the sample in the ionized micells and capillary electro-phoresis, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of the components is carried out; a three way joint is provided having a first opening connected to the capillary tube, a second opening connected to tubing for feeding the solvent and sample, and a third opening serving as a discharge outlet for residue solution of solvent and sample not introduced into the capillary tube; and means are provided for controlling the time the sample contacts an inlet of the capillary tube within the three way joint, whereby the quantity of sample introduced into the capillary tube is controlled. In another embodiment, means are provided for controlling the quantity of sample which is drawn into the capillary tube.
