    摘要: A method of controlling the quantity of fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine after starting thereof. An initial value of a fuel increment is set in response to a temperature of the engine immediately after the start of the engine, and is subsequently decreased with the lapse of time. A quantity of fuel set by the use of the thus decreased fuel increment is supplied to the engine. The rate of decrease of the fuel increment is set to a value corresponding to a sensed temperature representative of fuel injection valves of the engine. Preferably, the rate of decrease is set to a smaller value when the sensed temperature is equal to or higher than a value corresponding to the boiling point of the fuel, than a value set when the former is lower than the latter.

    摘要: The fuel supply to an internal combustion engine is decreased when the engine is in an operating region wherein the intake passage pressure is lower than a first predetermined value. The first predetermined value is corrected in response to detected atmospheric pressure encompassing the engine. Further, the fuel supply to the engine is interrupted when the engine is in a second operating region wherein the intake passage pressure is lower than a second predetermined value, which is lower than the first predetermined value. The second predetermined value is corrected in response to the detected atmospheric pressure, together with the first predetermined value.

    摘要: An amount of fuel to be supplied to an internal combustion engine is determined in dependence upon operating conditions of the engine and is corrected by a correction variable dependent upon atmospheric pressure. The correction variable is set so as to increase with a decrease in atmospheric pressure, and the set value of the correction variable is modified so as to decrease with a rise in the engine rotational speed. The correction variable resulting from this modification is added to the amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine to correct the same.

A basic value of a fuel amount to be supplied to the engine is determined based on a load on the engine. The determined basic value of the fuel amount is corrected by a correction value for increasing the fuel amount during and/or after acceleration of the engine. The correction value is determined based on a change in the opening degree of the throttle valve. The correction valve is further determined based on a change in the magnitude of the load on the engine.

    摘要: A method of controlling the timing of fuel injection in an internal combustion engine, wherein the injection timing of each of a plurality of fuel injection valves provided respectively for as many cylinders is determined in response to engine operating conditions. When it is determined that the engine is in a first predetermined operating condition, fuel is injected into a cylinder that corresponds to the present pulse of a control signal upon generation of same. The control signal is generated at a predetermined crank angle before a top dead center of each cylinder at the start of the intake stroke in the cylinder. When the engine is in a second predetermined operating condition, fuel is injected into another cylinder that corresponds to a pulse of the control signal next to the present pulse, upon generation of the present pulse. Preferably, the first and second predetermined operating conditions are determined by the engine rotational speed and/or the engine temperature.

    摘要: An operation control system for internal combustion engines at and after starting has an engine temperature sensor, a control valve for controlling the amount of intake air to be supplied to the engine, and a valve opening determining device responsive to an output from the engine temperature sensor for determining the opening of the control valve. The valve opening determining device sets the opening of the control valve at the start of the engine to a value such that the intake air amount is smaller as the engine temperature is lower. A fuel amount determining device is responsive to the output from the engine temperature sensor for determining the amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine at starting. A correction value determining device is responsive to the opening of a throttle valve of the engine for determining a correction value for the fuel amount in such a manner as to increase the fuel amount at a larger rate as the throttle opening is larger. A valve opening progressive increase device progressively increases the opening of the control valve after the start of the engine. A valve opening progressive decrease device progressively decreases the opening of same after the engine rotational speed reaches a predetermined value after the start of the engine.
