Abstract:
A method and a system for notifying access network location information are provided. The method includes that in a PMIPv6 architecture, a Mobile Access Gateway (MAG) sends a circuit ID to a Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) by carrying the circuit ID in a proxy binding update message; and in a GTP architecture, a local GTP peer sends a circuit ID to a correspondent GTP peer by carrying the circuit ID in a Create Session Request message, a Modify Bearer Request message or a Delete Session Request message. In the disclosure, an MAG can notify an LMA of access network location information of a UE in a PMIPv6 architecture, and a GTP peer can notify a correspondent GTP peer of access network location information of a UE in a GTP architecture.
Abstract:
A method, equipment and system for policy control. The method includes: a trusted Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) access gateway receiving Quality of Service (QoS) information from a 3GPP core network, and sending the QoS information to an Access Controller (AC) or a Broadband Network Gateway (BNG); the AC or the BNG or other fixed network access devices performing admission control and/or resource allocation according to the QoS information. In the technical solution, the interface configuration and policy configuration are performed for the WLAN access gateway in the fixed mobile convergence scenario, thereby the policy control is implemented in the fixed mobile convergence scenario.
Abstract:
A method and device for informing user address are disclosed. The method comprises: a defined network allocating, according to a user address prefix provided by a mobile network, a user address to a mobile network user accessing the mobile network from the defined network; and the defined network informing the mobile network of the allocated user address. The disclosure address the problems of complex flow for allocating user address and low allocation efficiency, and how to inform a mobile network of an allocated user address existing in the related art, thus achieving the allocation of an user address and improving informing efficiency.

Abstract:
A User Equipment (UE), network-side device, system and method are disclosed for external authentication using an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP). The method includes, when the UE is initially attached to an Evolved Packet System (EPS) network via an Evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN), the UE transmitting EAP authentication information required for the EAP authentication to a packet data network gateway and, after receiving EAP request, the UE transmitting a bearing resource modification request message carrying EAP response to the packet data network gateway. With the method, the UE can use the EAP authentication to implement authentication and authorization by an external authentication and authorization server via a GGSN/PDN GW in a process of connecting the UE to the EPS via a 3GPP access.
Abstract:
A method, device and system for accessing a core network by means of non-3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) access are disclosed, so as to acquire capability information of a User Equipment (UE) and/or capability information of a non-3GPP access system, and decide, according to the acquired capability information, whether the UE transfers information required for establishing an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) session. The disclosure can enhance the capability of the UE to support establishment of an extra Packet Data Network (PDN) connection and service continuity during switching between access systems. Meanwhile, the capability of a peer can be acquired through the UE and a network, so that the network may support normal access by an existing UE and an enhanced UE simultaneously.
Abstract:
A trusted non-3GPP access network element and a method for accessing a mobile network and detachment are disclosed. The method for accessing a mobile network includes: a TNAN network element receives an extensible authentication protocol (EAP) authentication success message or an EAP authentication success triggering message, and then establishes a session with a packet data network gateway (P-GW) of a mobile network; and the TNAN network element receives an IP address request message from user equipment and then allocates an IP address consistent with the packet data network (PDN) type requested by the user equipment to the user equipment.
Abstract:
A communications system includes a trusted wireless access gateway, a broadband network gateway and a user equipment. The user equipment is configured to transmit an attachment request. The broadband network gateway is configured to receive the attachment request from the user equipment and determine whether the attachment request is an extensible authentication protocol (EAP) authentication request and forward to the trusted wireless gateway the attachment request when is determined that the attachment request is an EAP authentication request. The trusted wireless access gateway is configured to fulfill the attachment request based on a type of the attachment request.
Abstract:
An accounting method and device are disclosed in the disclosure. The method includes that: a BNG transmits a second Accounting-Request message to an AAA server after receiving a first Accounting-Request message from an AC, wherein the first Accounting-Request message is used for activating the BNG to execute an accounting operation; and the BNG transmits a second Accounting-Stop message to the AAA server after receiving a first Accounting-Stop message from the AC, wherein the first Accounting-Stop message is used for activating the BNG to stop the accounting operation. By the disclosure, the problem that the function division of the AC and the BNG is not yet clear during the accounting operation in the related art is solved, so that functions of the AC and the BNG are clearly divided during the accounting operation, an accounting operation flow is further made clear, and the accounting efficiency is improved.
