摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for receiving a user's spoken search query that the system will incrementally recognize and identify search terms. After the query has been incrementally recognized, the system will use the search terms to retrieve a portion of the search results that are based on usable identified search terms. As the results are found, the system will then output at least part at least part of the retrieved portion of search results on the display prior to the user concluding his or her search query.

摘要: The disclosure is directed to a method of mapping an interface definition language (IDL) based communication to a simple object access protocol (SOAP) based communication. The method includes receiving an IDL schema to be mapped to an XML schema and processing the IDL schema. The IDL schema may be processed to identify IDL identifiers having an added prefix, an IDL union element having a boolean discriminator type, or an IDL interface type that includes a constant string. The method may also include mapping each of the IDL identifiers by removing the added prefixes, an optional element of the IDL union element to a first XML schema type having different minimum and maximum occurs values, or the IDL interface type by creating an XML schema enumeration having a value set to a string value of the constant string. The method further includes generating the XML schema.

摘要: Publishing content associated with an electronic file attached to an electronic mail message by executing instructions contained in the electronic mail attachment and accessing the content at a remote computer server identified by the attached file. The attached file includes computer-executable instructions, such as a computer program or script, which include an identifier for a remote server connected to a distributed computer network. This identified remote server typically hosts a web site containing content intended for viewing by the recipient of the electronic mail message. In response to launching the attached file of the electronic mail message with a viewer program, a browser program can be opened to enable the recipient to view the content of the identified remote server, typically a web site on an intranet or the global Internet. This supports the communication of electronic content by using an electronic mail message to transport an electronic file attachment having instructions that, when executed by the recipient's computer, enable the recipient to view the electronic content by accessing a server computer connected to distributed computer network.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and systems for automatically creating a data feed file for use by desktop applications. The invention comprises a raw data files that is stored on electronic storage devices inaccessible to desktop software applications. To gain access to data stored in the raw data file, a data feed file is generated and electronically transmitted to a location electronically accessible to a user-preferred desktop application. To generate the data feed file, the desired data is extracted from the raw data file based on data-locating criteria. The extracted data is further analyzed for compliance with data-limiting criteria which further defines the characteristics of data needed for the data feed file. The data extracted from the raw data file is then used to populate the data feed file. The data feed file is thereafter transmitted to a location accessible to the user-preferred desktop application for data tracking, data compilation, and various other types of data manipulation.

摘要: An audio caller identification system and method are provided. A caller identification device of a called party's telephone, whether integrated with the telephone or stand-alone, includes a speaker for audibly alerting the called party to the nature of an incoming call. A speech synthesizer in concert with an audio caller ID program may audibly identify a name and/or number of the calling party displayed on the called party's caller ID device, including descriptive terms for calling parties such as “private,” “unlisted,” or “out of the area.” When the called party's telephone begins to ring, the called party may listen to the audio identification of the calling party for a quick screening without having to go to the telephone to read the caller ID.
