    摘要: A hub, on which compressing of the inner central bore is to be minimized during the winding up of an information medium in tape form under high winding pressure. According to one embodiment, this is achieved by an outer hub ring having a strong profile being provided alongside the outer windung area and by there also being elastically deformable intermediate elements between outer hub ring and inner hub ring. Such elements provide for a compression ratio of the compressed diameters of a the inner to the outer ring of less than 1:4. In the case of a further embodiment, variously shaped openings or notches, which are distributed evenly over the entire circumference, are provided on both sides of the hub between its outer circumference and inner circumference. In a still further embodiment the elastically deformable intermediate elements consist of webs running in radial and circumferential directions and residual portions between openings provided between the periphery of the outer ring and said webs.

    摘要: A thermoplastic molding material based on polyethylene terephthalate contains preferably from 37 to 96% by weight of PET, from 1 to 20% by weight of a polymer material containing preferably polyurethane, and from about 4 to 30% by weight of a pigment-like reinforcing agent comprising metal and/or metal oxide. The molding materials are suitable for processing by injection molding, and the shaped articles produced therefrom have advantageous properties, in particular with regard to a higher density compared with a similar polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) having glass fibers as a filler.The thermoplastic molding material can advantageously be used for small parts and for housing parts for electronic equipment and data devices.

    摘要: A magnetic recording medium consisting of a nonmagnetic substrate and at least two magnetizable layers which are applied thereon and contain metal oxides as magnetic pigment is described, the pigment of the upper layer having a higher BET value than that in the lower layer. According to the invention, the upper layer has a thickness in the range of 3-5 .mu.m when dry and the lower layer a thickness in the range of 1.1-3 .mu.m when dry. Particularly advantageous results are obtained when the magnetic pigment of the upper layer is cobalt-doped .gamma.--Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 and that of the lower layer is acicular CrO.sub.2. With the double-layer recording medium obtained according to the invention, in particular the output level at low frequencies is improved without the frequency curve showing the usual depression in the middle.

    摘要: An apparatus for irreversibly indicating that the permissible temperature of stored products has been temporarily exceeded is described, in which a container has a heat-conducting connection to the product to be monitored and contains, in its interior, a medium having a melting point which is just above the permissible storage temperature, magnetizable particles being suspended in the medium. Moreover, solid magnetizable bodies are uniformly distributed in the container. After the deep-freezing process is complete, the magnetizable particles and the solid bodies are magnetized. If the permissible storage temperature is exceeded, the suspension becomes liquid and the pigments accumulate on the solid bodies, an optical indicator present on a wall of the container and visible from the outside detecting that the permissible temperature has been exceeded.

A carriage has a linear movement in a direction which runs transversely with respect to the first direction. A holder is attached to the carriage and a knife is attached to the holder by way of a rotatable shaft. Constructional elements convert linear movement of the carriage into a rotational movement of the knife, wherein the knife cuts transversely through the media while the tape is firmly held on the support.
