    摘要: There are provided a novel sintered apatite body and a novel sintered apatite-mineral fiber material composite. The crystals of the sintered apatite have fine dense crystalline structures comprising needle-like fine crystals and are entangled together, whereby the mechanical properties of the sintered apatite body or composite are markedly enhanced. The sintered body and composite wherein the apatite is hydroxyapatite are useful for bioceramic uses. The sintered apatite body or composite is produced by baking an apatite material alone or in contact with a reinforcing mineral fiber material in the presence of water under pressure at a temperature lower than 1000.degree. C., and further at a temperature lower than the temperature causing deterioration of the fiber material in the case of the composite.

    摘要: This invention is based on the discovery by the inventors that, if a preliminary hydration hardening process and a full-scale hydration hardening process are provided after the molding process, and a process for burning a hardened body of cement at a high temperature is provided between the preliminary and full-scale hardening processes, it is possible to obtain a molded product of cement having a higher mechanical strength than any such product according to any known method including no such burning process.According to this invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a product of cement having high mechanical strength, which method comprises the steps in sequence of adding water, and if required, glass fibers or other reinforcing material, into a mixture of cement and an aggregate, and kneading the whole completely; molding the kneaded mixture into a desired shape; hardening the molded body preliminarily by hydration; burning the preliminarily hardened body at a high temperature; and hardening the burned body on a full scale by hydration.

    摘要: There is provided a novel adhesive-backed tile panel protected by a release sheet. The prefabricated tile panel comprises a substrate sheet composed of a core fabric and a heat-softening-adherent asphalt composition applied to the both surfaces of the fabric; an adhesive layer having convex and concave portions such as stripes of an adhesive not flowable but sticky at an ambient temperature; and tiles arranged regularly and secured to the asphalt composition layer of the substrate sheet. The convex portions and concave portions of the adhesive layer constitute the gaps through which air present between the tile panels and a substrate board can be purged upon installation of the tile panels. The tile panels can be installed readily on a substrate board having thereon horizontal indication means such as crosspieces by removing the release sheet, mounting the tile panels on the substrate board, and pressing the mounted tile panels to purge air present between the panels and the board through the gaps of the adhesive layer and to increase the effective adhesion areas of the adhesive layer. A unit substrate board having specified structures for assembling a preferred substrate board is also provided for installation of the tile panels.
