Abstract:
A method for filling a liquid into a liquid-filled rubber, the method includes a deaerating step of deaerating a liquid under normal temperature, a cooling step of cooling the deaerated liquid, a pouring step of pouring the cooled liquid into a liquid chamber of a rubber member and a sealing step of sealing the liquid chamber in an atmosphere under reduced pressure to seal the liquid in the liquid chamber.
Abstract:
An object is extruded to have the form of a cage, the cage defined by spokes corresponding to several extrudate streams. The spokes bound a hollow interior and extend between opposed hub regions where the spokes are fused together. In manufacturing the objects, ceramic material is extruded through multiple dies arrayed around an extrusion axis, the dies mounted to permit controlled movement of the dies during the course of extrusion to vary the position of extrudate streams exiting the dies.
Abstract:
A process for the production of fiber composite hollow SMC components is provided. In the process an SMC-suitable semi-finished fiber composite material is arranged over or around a wash-removable salt core system. The semi-finished fiber composite material and core system are arranged in an SMC mold, followed by molding of an SMC component incorporating the semi-finished fiber composite material and core system. The wash-removable salt may then be removed by washing to result in an SMC component containing a hollow region.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a breast prosthesis having a shell-like body that has a film bag having a filling, wherein the method comprises the following steps: welding and/or adhering plastic films while leaving a region free to form a film bag having a filling passage; injecting a flowable filler material through the filling passage into the film bag; and welding and/or adhering the plastic films in the region of the filling passage to close the film bag, wherein a flowable sealing compound is injected that comes to lie between the filling passage and the filler material and forms a stopper after the injection of the filler material and before the closing of the film bag.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to new acid resistant hard pharmaceutical capsules, a process for their manufacture and use of such capsules particularly but not exclusively for oral administration of pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, food and dietary supplements to humans or animals. The capsules of the invention are obtained by aqueous compositions comprising a water soluble film forming polymer and gellan gum in a mutual weight ratio of 4 to 15 weight parts of gellan gum for 100 weight parts of film forming polymer.
Abstract:
A ball is provided forming an inside structure of the snow person, the ball having an inner and outer surface. The ball is a unitary work piece that is free and unconnected to other work pieces. An adhesion surface is disposed on the outer surface of the ball, the adhesion surface provided with nodules that extend away from the surface of the ball to adhere snow while the ball is rolled. Light units are integrated into the surface of the ball and having light emitting portions that extend away from the surface of the ball. A light output of the light units is selected to transmit light through a layer of snow. Connections between the light units situated within the ball connect the light units together.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of a package bag (10) according to the present invention includes: a cured portion forming step of forming a cured portion (15a, 15b) on at least one side of a forming position of a rib (14) by crystallizing at least a portion of a resin constituting a film (11) by heating and cooling the film (11); and a rib forming step of forming a rib (14) by pressing the film (11) using concave and convex molds. According to the present invention, it is possible to maintain an opening state of a spout (12). Further, since additional material is not required, it is possible to suppress increase in the thickness of the package bag (10) and to reduce the bulkiness of the package bags.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for producing a preform with a base geometry optimized for the subsequent stretch blow molding. The preform produced in the injection mold is removed in a cooled removal sleeve and cooled in the shaft by intensive contact cooling, while to the greatest extent no cooling contact is made with the domed preform end due to a special contour of the cooling sleeve. On account of the re-heating of this domed end that is possible as a result, the latter can be mechanically deformed into a new geometry that is more advantageous for the blow-molding process, and consequently also influenced in the wall thickness. In the subsequent blow-molding process, such a deformed preform has primarily the advantage that the polymer material distributed better in the bottle can lead to considerable material savings and to bottle bases of a higher quality.
Abstract:
A hollow fiber carbon molecular sieve membrane, a process for preparing the hollow fiber carbon molecular sieve membrane, and a process for effecting separation of an olefin from a gaseous mixture that comprises the olefin in admixture with its corresponding paraffin and optionally one or more gaseous components selected from hydrogen, an olefin other than the olefin and a paraffin other than the corresponding paraffin. The process and membrane may also be used to effect separation of the olefin(s) from remaining feedstream components subsequent to an olefin-paraffin separation.
Abstract:
A method for producing a pacifier teat, and a pacifier teat with a teat section which forms a hollow space and which is adjoined by a stem, wherein an elastic hollow body comprising the teat section and the stem is injection moulded or pre-formed by a dipping method, and opposite wall sections of the pre-formed hollow body are connected to each other in the region of the stem.
