摘要： Disclosed is a liquid transferring unit having a tank carrying a liquid such as, for example, a glue or an ink, an applicator roll with a part thereof being immersed within the liquid disposed within in the tank, a doctor roll which scrapes off or removes the surplus liquid taken up by means of the applicator roll, and a pair of dam plates which are disposed within the tank so as to be movable toward and away from each other along a direction parallel to the axis of the applicator roll; characterized in that the pair of dam plates have regulating sections, respectively, which can be abutted against the opposing circumferential portions of the two rolls, so that the triangular space defined between the two rolls may be closed by means of such regulating sections.

摘要： Methods of bonding a printing plate on a base film and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. The apparatus includes a pair of support mechanisms, one of which is horizontally located and the other of which is disposed at a right angle with respect to the horizontal one. A strip of paper is reeved around the horizontal support mechanism, while a strip of film is reeved around the vertical one. A plotter is provided above and in conjunction with the horizontal support mechanism for marking the location on which to place a printing plate, on the paper reeved around the horizontal support mechanism. A half mirror is disposed in close proximity to both of said horizontal and vertical support mechanisms for projecting the location marked on the paper onto the film reeved around the vertical support mechanism. Using a lifter, the operator looks down the half mirror to view the location of a printing plate as projected onto the film, and bonds the printing plate to the base film in that projected location.

摘要： Disclosed is a drive mechanism for a single facer having a first fluted roll unit consisting of a pair of outer and inner fluted rolls, a second fluted roll unit also consisting of a pair of outer and inner fluted rolls, and a press roll, wherein the press roll is designed to be operated selectively in combination with the first fluted roll unit or with the second fluted roll unit; characterized in that the drive mechanism comprises: a drive gear to be rotated by a suitable drive means fixed upon a drive shaft which is drivingly connected to a rotary shaft of the press roll in such a way that the drive shaft may be rotated integrally with the rotary shaft; a driven gear mounted upon a driven shaft which is connected to the rotary shaft of the outer or inner fluted roll in each of the first and second fluted roll units, to be integrally rotatable with the rotary shaft, the driven gear being freely rotatable upon the driven shaft under engagement with the drive gear; a clutch for achieving ON/OFF shifting of power transmission from the driven gear to the driven shaft; and a power transmitting member disposed upon the driven shaft with a one-way clutch, which is rotated by an idling drive means when the former clutch is released.

摘要： Disclosed is a decentralized control method for a corrugator line characterized by the fact that, in the control method for a corrugator line for the continuous production of corrugated boards including the process of bonding a liner to the corrugated medium so as manufacture a single-faced corrugated board, bonding another liner to this single-faced corrugated board so as to fabricate double-faced corrugated boards or sheets, cutting the boards into predetermined lengths, and the like and having a local control unit provided for each process unit which is set up by dividing the aforenoted series of production processes so as to achieve synchronized production control of the line by means of these unit-process local control units which are allotted different functions and which are linked into a multiplex transmission network. The cycle pulses (that is, the synchronization signal which serves as the production reference for each control unit) that are obtained, when the double-faced or double wall corrugated boards are cut into the required lengths, are used and supplied to the main control unit and each local control unit for the synchronized production control by means of the local control units.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method and means for replacing upper and lower corrugated rolls in a single facer having a cassette frame for rotatably supporting the upper and lower rolls and a main frame to which the cassette frame is detachably connected. The method comprises the steps of suspending and moving away the cassette frame apart from a predetermined mounting position in the single facer, keeping a spare cassette rotatably supporting other upper and lower rolls waiting in a suspended condition and fixing the spare cassette frame to the predetermined mounting position in the single facer in place of the cassette frame removed. Means for performing the method is disclosed which comprises a cassette frame rotatably supporting the upper and lower rolls; and a main frame carrying a pressure roll and a gluing unit. The cassette frame is detachably connected to the main frame.

摘要： There is disclosed a method of controlling a web feeding device comprising a pair of center blocks disposed upon predetermined movable members so as to oppose each other with their axes being aligned so as to perform loading and unloading of a web roll by moving closer to or farther away from each other, a lifter disposed adjacent to the movable members and vertically driven so as to elevate the web roll loaded thereon, and a sensor which detects alignment of the pair of center blocks with the core tube of the web roll; wherein:the pair of center blocks are stopped at a predetermined position, prior to the ascending stroke of the lifter, by moving said movable members;the lifter having the web roll loaded thereon is ascended; andthe alignment of the core tube of the web roll with the pair of center blocks is detected by the sensor so as to instantaneously stop the ascending motion of the lifter.
