Abstract:
A cork grip includes a main part (21) that is formed of cork pieces each having a predetermined cylindrical shape that are punched out of a cork sheet formed of cork material stripped from a cork tree and pressed into the shape of a board. The cork sheet is punched into the cylindrical shapes in such a manner that pithy tissues (6a) of the cork intersect with the axial direction of the main part (21). The pithy tissues (6a) of the main part 21 are filled with a filling agent that includes a mixture of binder and cork powder.
Abstract:
The label printing apparatus has a structure including: a label feed means for successively feeding plural labels, each having an information printing area including a heat-sensitive color developing ink layer, to predetermined printing positions; a laser printing device which is provided with a sensor and a light source, said sensor serving to discriminate between presence and absence of the label in the predetermined printing position and to output a label detection signal, said light source serving to release a laser beam, and which receives the label detection signal directly from the sensor, prints information on the label by means of the laser beam when the presence of the label on the predetermined printing position is confirmed by the label detection signal, and outputs a shot signal; and a controller to discriminate whether the output interval between the shot signals is within a given period of time or not and to output an error signal when the output interval between the shot signals is not within the given period of time. Owing to the above-mentioned structure, the label printing apparatus of the present invention can be easily controlled, is free from any useless motion and is able to reduce occurrence of a defective.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid transferring unit having a tank carrying a liquid such as, for example, a glue or an ink, an applicator roll with a part thereof being immersed within the liquid disposed within in the tank, a doctor roll which scrapes off or removes the surplus liquid taken up by means of the applicator roll, and a pair of dam plates which are disposed within the tank so as to be movable toward and away from each other along a direction parallel to the axis of the applicator roll; characterized in that the pair of dam plates have regulating sections, respectively, which can be abutted against the opposing circumferential portions of the two rolls, so that the triangular space defined between the two rolls may be closed by means of such regulating sections.
Abstract:
A corrugated cardboard producing machine has a preheater for heating a corrugated cardboard sheet of original paper or single face type corrugatd cardboard sheet in each of various processing stages for producing a corrugated cardboard by bonding a liner paper onto a corrugated central core paper. The preheater is provided with a lap amount adjusting tool whose insertion amount between a circumference of a roll of the preheater and the original paper or the single face type corrugated cardboard is adjustable. The lap amount adjusting tool is movable along the circumference of the roll of the preheater.
Abstract:
A method of forming a resist pattern, which comprises printing a predetermined pattern on a substrate by a lithographic technique using a resist ink curable by irradiation of an active energy ray and/or heating, said ink containing (1) a metal chelate resin obtained by reacting (a) at least one resin selected from the group consisting of alkyd resins, modified alkyd resins, fatty acid-modified epoxy resins, urethanized oils and maleinized oils and (b) a metal compound capable of forming a coordination bond using the resin (a) as a ligand and (2) a polymerizable compound containing at least two ethylenically unsaturated bonds per molecule; and curing the printed pattern by irradiating an active energy ray and/or by heating.
Abstract:
Handles and grips for fishing equipment having antibacterial and antifungal properties are disclosed. The grips are formed from a synthetic resin in which one or more germicidal agents have been added.
Abstract:
A fishing rod comprises a tubular tip section having an inner passage bore through a longitudinal center to opened at both a first end and a second end; a butt section is provided at a second end of the tip section, having a butt grip and a reel seat and a guide element provided intermediate the tip section and the butt section, having an inner bore opening at the first end thereof coupling with the second end of the tip section, and a guide hole section formed with a hole penetrating through an outer wall proximate the tip section second end over an area of the inner bore having a width larger than the inner diameter of said inner passage.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a belt speed controller in a single facer consisting of an upper fluted roll, a lower fluted roll, a gluing mechanism, and an application mechanism having an endless belt extended over a plurality of rolls so as to be able to run freely thereby; in which a liner is pressed against the glued crests of corrugation of a corrugating medium to be pasted therewith to form a single-faced corrugated board, characterized in that the speed controller consists of a braking apparatus for braking the roll, of the plurality of rolls over which the belt is extended, locating on the upstream side, with respect to the belt running direction, of the press contact zone where the belt is brought into press contact with the liner, and a control means which actuates the braking means to brake the endless belt via the roll. Since the endless belt is decelerated by the speed controller synchronously with or immediately before deceleration of the upper and lower fluted rolls, the belt can constantly be maintained slackless to achieve secured bonding between the corrugating medium and the liner.
